Hi

If I have time left from a plex and start a sub, how does it work? Does the sub time start after the plex runs out? Does it start immediately with the remaining plex time banked? Or does it just start immediately and the remaining time is trashed?

Yeah the sub charge will come out immediately, but basically it's just adding X amount of time on the end of your current subscription.

Any form of subscription is always added to any remaining time you have.

If you pay for 1 years sub and then 2 weeks later add 6 PLEX to your account, those are added to your year sub.

Yep what they all said.

Basically though you just end up with more time. There is no "which gets used first" because it all gets lumped together.

Think of it as like adding whisky from two different bottles to a glass, it makes no sense to ask "which botlle am I drinking now" its all just whisky in a glass.

Yeah. Mostly I'm just trying to sort it out so that the withdrawals on my cc don't interfere with the other pre-auths that come out each month. Now I know that the sub starts on the day of signing up, I know which day to do it and which day to be sure my cc is paid up.

For what it is worth, EVEmon shows you when your subscription expires (= renews).

In addition to its other useful stuff.
