My top goal atm is to get the best passive shield tank possible sup cap. I dont care about dps, speed, ect.... Just pure passive shield tank. Im going for the rattlesnake atm. Can anyone offer me any better ships or am I on the right track with the rattlesnake? Yes it may be a noob question but i am a noob.

Yep rattlesnake, it can easily achieve a 2000 DPS tank even with tech 2 mods, with some faction stuff it can fit omni tracking links and a sentry damage rig boosting drone performance while still retaining enough passive tank to solo level 5 missions.

The other great passive tankers are the ishtar and nighthawk, but these can only really obtain very strong passive tanks for kinetic and thermal damage due to high base resists for those damage types.
