When you are floating in space, there is a slight wobble to your camera. It is very slow, so not very noticeable. But if you speed up eve, it becomes VERY pronounced. This effect has been around since at least 2004.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ge4ZIdqafXk?t=37s

I get the graphical effect the designers are going for, but it is stupid in a space game. If this was under water, sure. If your ship is moving, I could understand the screen listing a direction or another. From a scientific view, if you are just being affected by thrust from your ship (zero in relation to gravity), gravity from things around you, and light, there is no reason for your screen to shake. It is a left over from

Please at least consider giving an option for people to disable the wobble, primarily for speed up displays of things that take a long time. It will lead to better videos online, so that I don't get weird questions from my friends of 'why is the screen shaking'.

Edit: The 'camera shake' option is for explosions and is unrelated.

I have removed a rule breaking post and those quoting it.

The Rules:
27. Off-topic posting is prohibited.

Off-topic posting is permitted within reason, as sometimes a single comment may color or lighten the tone of discussion. However, excessive posting of off-topic remarks in an attempt to derail a thread may result in the thread being locked, or a forum warning being issued to the off-topic poster.

Did the ISD just lock the original post and leave the repost up then remove the posts in the repost calling the repost a repost?

and even if you ignore who came first he just locked the one that had actual feed back in favor of the one with nothing more than a +1

I agree, kind of silly. We were discussing it in chat, he was faster than me. But I wrote a more detailed explanation of the problem while the other was just 'fix this'. So hopefully this problem gets the checkbox it needs.

Would use this option.

Once upon a time the Golem had a Raven hull and it looked good. Then it transformed into a plataduck. The end.

As a video creator I must support this idea. I do actually like the wobble during regular gameplay, but when making and especially editing videos it becomes very noticeable. Being able to turn it off while recording would be amazing.

I am curious if this is a hard or easy change. Mainly because this wobble has been in eve since 2003-2004.

always wished it would be turned off somehow. I could understand a vectored pan, like you just hadn't perfectly stabilized yourself in space, but its a wobble.

Sometimes I got a bit seasick from wobble effect. So far I don't need it.

The game mechanics don't need it. The vacuum in space don't need it...
Take it away. It makes no sense anyway.

I think you'll get your wish. Wouldn't make sense to spite the free marketing department.

I completely agree, The videos of B-R5RB or any other fight with TiDi are terrible due to the wobble and do nothing to show the value of the game besides friends asking if motion sickness is normal while playing.
