will the ship follow right behind the confessor as far as building? meaning will it also need a totally different and new small intact hull section?? .. which means another new sleeper loot right?... or will it work off the same (awesome if so)..

will it have a new sub part like the self-assembly nano-thingy?? or will that remain the same??

The balance on those is still coming, don't try to read into things, it never works out.


the point was why do these T3 destroyers even have T2 resists in the first place? .. especially when they said they would remove them on T3 cruisers.. thus its an extension of that..

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

Tactical Destroyers lack the PG to make them into giant house-sized bricks of cynosural goodness.

Fall off bonus on top of the turret with the highest FO values? And i thought the Garmur was OP. Leave the suggested ammo change +1.

Gate Camp thrasher is now more OP, maybe now i can drop a gyro for a TE, but even then it will still hit frigs within elbow range with tracking bonus.

Resist profile was prob just a mistake with a terrifying shield 50 / 40 / 40 / 50. And why bonus defensive mode to all shield AND armor?

By that logic we should be giving lasers falloff bonuses. You see, bonuses are given to ships such that they HELP the ship, rather than do **** all for it.

Why are people so confused about T2/3 minmatar ships getting a bonus to EM and thermal resists? Every race has a specific resist bonus on T2/3 ships.

Yes, you tend to give bonuses to your primary weapons main damage applying area. Same goes for missiles, lasers, and hybrids.

And the resist profile is actually about mid-range compared to other minmatar advanced combat ships (iirc vaga has 75/60/40/50). And the bonus applies to both to give you an option to use either one effectively, considering theres less slots for each one individually to work with it should be fine.

it just seems a little confused too me.... surely the arty buff should be ROF instead of alpha ..

This ship is too overpowered. Balance in compare between tech 3 destroyers and another ship classes is completely broken.

Looks to be an arty boat, +50% damage and +50% optimal from the base bonuses and the Sharpshooter boat gives it tracking. Plus all small projectiles are getting +10% base damage buff.

Why are you giving this Minmatar ship an optimal bonus? Do you want this ship to be atty only? Even then in most cases falloff is better for atty as well. Not sure what you were thinking on this one projectiles need falloff. This seems dumb.

Not sure why you feel the need to mess with an entire weapon category just because you introduced one ship? That also seems rather dumb.

I personally can see no use for these T3 destroyers in my personal playstyle so what you do to the ships themselves I could care less about but why do you have to mess with an entire weapon system? I don't want to sound like I'm complaining about a falloff increase because I am not I just don't understand why you are having these changes coincide with the T3 destroyer release. If weapons needed a rebalance why not do those together and have it be a separate thing from the T3 release?

I am looking at minmatar T3 destroyer stats, they are kind of weak, specifically sniper mode.

In sniper mode, arty reaches at 50km (barely) with dps of barely 100. Confessor reaches to 60km with dps 200 easily.

So, in sniper mode, what is the point of being able to target 120km+ when your arty barely reaches 50km with terrible alpha and damage?

Tracking is good I admit, but what can you do with 85-100 dps in sniper? Thats as bad as an interceptor and a whole lot worse then a confessor.

Ship only becomes decent when you load arty with EMP, thats 25-28km range @ 200dps give or take, thats good to take down frigates yes, but then what is the point of sniper mode? 120km targeting and a 33% tracking which you dont really need @ 25km engagement envelope?

Everyone and their dog will stay in speed mode and kite.

But most importantly, sniper mode looks the coolest - like a mecha robot from manga comics. Give me a reason to actually use it other then for visuals! Give me range instead of tracking bonus!
