Look, I was reluctant to even bring this up, since I know it's a touchy subject for a lot of people who would prefer the resources be invested elsewhere. But... are there any plans in the works to add more clothes to the New Eden Store?

I can only speak for myself, but I'd prefer some more... uh... graceful options: longer dresses and the like (it seems like every dressy clothing option available to me is based on a '60s-era Star Trek uniform). I don't need to be the Childlike Empress or anything, but some elegant, floor-length PrincessLeia-style, light-up, or even Arwen type options might be interesting.

I Totally Agree We are in a Need Of a Revolt For Better Clothing and Fashion. I am a Man Who Loves Style And Fashion I have to say The Eve Online Thrift Shop is Overpriced,Dull And Limited . Thats Because this Eve Online It greater Caters to Mens Shooter, Action RPG, Card , Strategy Mentality vs : Brain/Quiz, Mgmt/Sim Solitaire, Social Turn-Based Mentality

Bottom line Woman Are More Socially intelligent Than men And dress better so CCP Should Cater more to Woman I guarantee where the Woman are the Men will be = Larger Playerbase=More $$$ For CCP =And streams on twitch TV that will be more than 100 viewers

You'd think with so many of us amarrians and our hooded vestments, that we could buy some fancier robes, ones with gold embroidery and trim like our ships have. I would actually buy that.

Hush now, robed monks are supposed to be humble. Lol

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

Fighting back is more fun than not.

Sticky: AFK Cloaking Thread It's not pretty, but it's there.

Similar to what I said about ship interiors:

With the right tools this content / virtual assets could be player generated and CCP moderated. Look a bit deeper into some of the work people do in Second Life.

Example: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-r0tKQJeSiZA/VG20tndVWhI/AAAAAAAALpM/FI1HPJHB5TM/s1600/_RESUN%2BFASHION_%2B-%2B%2BAmadea%2BMesh%2BDress%2BBlue%2B55.png (embedding it as a link broke the post) Ugh

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

EVE just needs something like the Steam workshop. Let the community do the work.

It would be nice if we could design items. I could see it working like this:

First, CCP publishes tools that allow for in-game designing of items. Clothing, furniture, decorations for your quarters, and ship skins would be possible items. Next, you submit your design to CCP for vetting. Vetting is to insure your creation is appropriate for Eve, and for every age group that could end up looking at it. This vetting process takes time and effort of a CCP employee, so it must be paid for. The creator pays with Aurum, which, being created from PLEX, represents real money to CCP.

If CCP approves the item, the creator gets a Blue Print Original for it. The creator can make and sell items, or sell BPCs or even the BPO itself. For additional Aurum, the creator can get additional BPOs.

I couldn't agree more. Many of the clothing articles we have seem a bit out-dated and somewhat tacky, but hey that's just me! Now if CCP released new clothing/accessories as the default choice i'd be a happy capsuleer :)

Did anyone else have to read that a half dozen times before it became clear? Or is it just me?

Mr Epeen Cool

Nah I read that like 5 times as well and then decided I wanted to give typing classes to the ISD's lol.

I wouldn't mind seeing some more headgear or a Serpentis Outlaw bundle in the NES...

And by "I wouldn't mind" I really mean "CCP do this NOW!"Big smile

Seeing as we can't open the door...yet to go walkabout inside the station with other pilots, all the new clothes would simply be worn inside the captain quarters where no-one but us would see our fancy new outfits.
