Of All those items you get from hacking data and relic sites, which one should be sold through the market to other players?

A lot of them a defined as "salvage" and have no stats other then a value...i presume thise can't really be sold to players.

I just to want to generically sell an item that could worth 10+ millions.

Thanks for the help

Ps: this game is getting better by the minute...

Nvm...

I just saw this post:

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=398313&find=unread

So essentially, anything but decryptors can be sold to NPC's.

Salvage is actually pretty valuable as it is used to manufacture rigs for ships. Some parts such as intact armor plates go for a pretty penny.

Is salvage better then archeology or hacking in high sec?

Relic sites are much more profitable than data, even after the supposed re-balance CCP did a few expansions ago.

Salvage components are often discovered through hacking or archaeology (data or relic sites).

Players will buy salvage from you, with the individual pieces ranging from a few hundred to a few million each, so it really is the luck of the draw.

Also anything you "sell" does not go to npc.

Those buy orders for salvage and decryptors etc are put up by real players eve market is player driven.

Besides BluePrints you can more or less go with the value of an item you get displayed at the bottom of your inventory to see what is valuable and what is crap.

As meantioned by Tyrton, buy (or sell) orders on the market are usually put there by other players. There are very few NPC buy/sell orders.
So if you want to sell something you get the most money if you put up your own sell order instead of accepting the buy order of another player.

In this case probably yes. At least you will find buyers faster then in some other systems where you might or might not get a better price

From time to time I collect the relic loot at my highsec drop-off stations and multi-sell everything except BPCs immediately to buy orders in Jita. You can check the expected value with http://evepraisal.com/ . The small spread in Jita is not worth the broker fee and hassle to setup sell orders.

Market traders love people that sell to buy orders.

Yes, it is, except in two cases:

1) if the value of the goods isn't worth the time of making a trip to a hub

or

2) if the goods are valuable enough that bringing them to a hub is dangerous.

I actually have region-wide and trade hub station buy orders for some exploration loot, and I pay considerably more at the hubs. Look at https://eve-central.com/home/quicklook.html?typeid=34206 for prices on Symmetry decryptors - you'll notice very large quantity buy orders in Dodixie 9-20 at around 190k ISK per unit (one of which is mine), and a *massive* quantity region-wide buy order in Pucherie 6-11 at 95k/unit (which is also mine). Notice how I pay twice as much on this low value item if you bring it to a hub because it's more convenient for me (I have *thousands* of these scattered around over 100 stations in that region).

Just be aware that if you filled a ship with 10000 of these, you might find yourself attracting the wrong type of attention from people like me, who would much rather blow you up and steal your stuff than buy it.

As the above...

Yes, trade hubs are usually prefered.

Though in times of wars in null-sec, you can "create" a temporary trade hub too near the conflict zone too if you are trying to sell what the people in the war are using.

And, don't always assume that Jita is best. Jita is the biggest hub, that doesn't always mean you get the best price there.
