Talocan were able to use static gates in an efficient way, demanding less energy than we do with our gates, to create wormholes or space rifts. Our acceleration gates are just a fraction of what Talocan could do with their static gates.

Talocan were able to cloack and travel FTL cloaked. The 'Smokescreen' covert ops cloaking device is entirely Talocan technology and its a very sophisticated piece of hardware. I think we barely understand Talocan tech in this arena and I say this even being able to manufacture those modules.

Talocan were able to generate several kinds of energy fields using them for defense with great effectiveness. The 'Posse' Adaptive Invulnerability Field is essentialy Talocan technology we were able to adapt on our ships.

Any coincidence to what you have seen being used by those Circadian Seekers in their way to pursue spaceships accross vast spaces even faster than our own ships, as well as the basic shielding every sleeper and seeker have and also the way those cloaked structures are cloaked and move (they don't disapear, they move somewhere else) away to different systems?

No, no coincidences. You are surely dealing with Talocan technology.

Now a reasonable assumption would be that those Circadian Seekers are not only spying and learning from us.... By having the technology to travel FTL to different systems without the requirement of jump gates (and lanes) but their own static ones, they could, and should, as well, be doing the same with the Jove. Assuming Jovians are more developed than us (??) what could we expect from those Seekers in the future, if their activity of scanning and espionage, uploading data and warp off are acchieved as successfuly as it has been against us?

Ms. DuPont; I really don't see how the Jove tie in with the rest of what you've written. What's more, while Talocan technology may be used in 'Smokescreen' and 'Posse' devices, the former is simply a more efficient equivalent to our existing covert cloaking technology, and the latter is actually less effective than the shield systems commonly produced. What's more, I don't necessarily see how Talocan static gates factor into Sleeper capabilities: while Sleeper and Talocan wrecks are found in proximity in wormhole systems, I think we've fairly well come to the conclusion that these were two distinct peoples.

Admittedly, it is odd that these drones have shields, whereas the Sleeper drones in wormhole space don't have shields at all-- but that's neither here nor there.

This FTL travel capabilities can't be created by jump gates. It is obvious they are using static gates technology in order to make those runs towards fixed AND moving targets.

I wonder if the Jove would open up their space to allow us to rebuild their jumpgate network?

I am beginning to toy with the idea it is not so.

Although, there is some evidence of conflict, those are not extensive enough to convince me of a Talocan - Sleeper war.
If we assume those two existed together in Anoikis, an open war between them would leave more evidence behind.
According to my observations so far, most of their sites are intact and there are no Sleeper wrecks to be found.
If there was indeed a war between them, it had to be swift and largely one-sided.

But what if.. what if the Talocan somehow became what we call "the Sleepers"?

There is no real evidence to support such a claim. Only clues.

The Talocan wrecks may appear different in design than known Sleeper models, they are however similar in
technology. Note how when a Talocan hull is salvaged it can yield a wrecked hull section, or an intact hull section. Note how both items have been identified as Sleeper in origin by expert researchers.

About the design:
This is the most basic Sleeper design we have encountered. Note the lack of "appendages" and generally the lack of the Insectoid architecture we see in most Sleeper hulls.

This is the Talocan Frigate.

Assuming the most basic sleeper design is also the oldest one, is it too wild to think that just maybe, the sleeper design is the evolution of the Talocan one? That it could be an evolutionary link of some sort.

I will continue my research on this matter, unless someone can disprove this theory.


I am convinced that this is the case, or in any case, someone did. CONCORD issued an eloquent warning only hours before the Seekers actually started responding to our fire. Was that simple premonition? I think not. They were warned.

I'm also leaning towards this belief, though concrete evidence is rather lacking thus far.
