Help a Hauler This Christmas, Get a Medal in Return

I really like hauling. A lot. I know, I'm a kook. But it is a ton of fun. I like finding routes and contracts to maximize my profits. I like travelling. I like seeing the stars and nebulae.

All that was ruined recently. I lost over a billion ISK when my Prorator was alpha'd outside Amarr by a Tornado. I currently have 50 million ISK to my name. I cannot afford any good courier contracts due to having no more collateral.

I know EVE's motto: "Don't fly what you cannot afford to lose." I've never had a problem with gank ships before. Since Crucible brought in the tier three battlecruisers, they've been game changers for transport haulers. I know what I have to do now to fly even safer.

I'm not here to whine about being ganked. I don't want any ships nerfed or any rules changed. The loss is my own fault.

But I love hauling. Help me get back to the occupation I truly love.

In exchange for donations made to either Scottish Play or Major Kong Freight, I will award you with a medal. (You will have to join Major Kong Freight for a short period of time to receive your medal.)

For a donation of 50,000,000 ISK you will receive the Charitable Bronze Star of Hauling Patronage.

For a donation of 100,000,000 ISK you will receive the Charitable Silver Star of Hauling Patronage.

For a donation of 250,000,000 ISK you will receive the Charitable Gold Star of Hauling Patronage.

I'll throw you 50 mil to help you get back on your feet.. Haha i can only imagine how much your heart was pounding when you saw your ship pop. I'm surprised you didn't rage quit tbh.. And for that you deserve all the charitable money the good people of EVE are willing to spare Roll.

EDIT: Out of curiosity why don't you try and secure a loan? I'd give you more if you offered a good return.

General Discussion is notorious for extreme verbal abuse.

Being that it's the Holiday Season, I can understand trying to cash in on a little Christmas Cheer for the recent loss. As with everything else, proof as in API verified kill mail and wallet log would be nice to quell thoughts of scam. I myself can relate to being hit with a rather large unexpected loss at an inopportune time.

As for putting a bill isk into a Transport, a few Faction/Deadspace mods can easily equal that amount.

Is it a good idea? Hey, it's only ISK and what else is there to spend it on.


OP is offering Medals for contributions which can be redeemed after joining his corp. Basically it's pay to join corp, receive Medal for doing it in the Christmas Spirit.


Shouldn't need to post or ask, makes me think of the Red Cross member standing on a street corner ringing a bell and offering a gift for a contribution. Only thing is to receive the gift, you have to become a member. Contribution is non-refundable.

1. No it doesn't but I've never clicked the events and gatherings section in the forum. CCP Phantom deleted quite a few posts when moving it.

2. In this case it's called calling this begging attempt what it is.

3. This isn't the Red Cross. I give to the Red Cross because I think they do good works. This guy did a stupid and got smacked for it. I don't support stupid.

4. As for overfilling (by value) a cargo ship, sure it's only isk, but he couldn't afford that isk that he risked stupidly. ~50mil in a T1 indy, ~1bil in a freighter, Infinite in Orca Corp Hangar. That's the safe progression.
