Wormholes

The final frontier...

The Project legions were scattered.
Their once mighty mining and pvp fleets but a fond memory...

Lord Vapor had to do something. His forces were losing hope and focus and so when a WH was mentioned he decided that everything will go into this. He gathered his exhausted commanders and outlined the plan...the objective? A wormhole.

Now wormholes are by no means easy. They have no concord protection and they have no local and so enemy detection. We had to rely only on dscan which in itself can be fooled by cloaking. But his people needed a beacon to cling to and so the Vapor decided a WH would be his. The move was relatively easy; our wh was a C1 with 2 other pos in system with little activity over the last 6 months. It was small but we began to call it home and we made sure we had the force to protect it setting up 2 pos and had a number of ships in system. The systems itself became affectionately known as Rapture.

Rapture was quiet for a couple of weeks but then the supposedly quiet neighbour decided to increase their pocos tax from a happily agreed apon 5% to a staggering 100% effectively destroying our Industry desires for the hole. We began to realise that our silent neighbours were not so politely telling us to leave…they had not realised their mistake

Project legions massed and we brought 5 of their offending POCOs to their knees with plans to remove them entirely when their defence mode clocked off then we settled in for the wait…

6hrs later our neighbours revealed their true intend bringing in a horde of bloodthirsty Amarr loving Anger Monkeys that brought both of our Beautiful spires to their knees…their threat, we will be back in 24hrs! “give us 3 bill or we will destroy them completely”(it was noted that they smelt appalling).

Lord Vapor was less than impressed. Bringing his commanders together he decided to refuse their dubious offer and is now preparing to defend his new homeland…

This Silent Watcher will keep you posted!

You should have assembled at least 5 carriers first. 8 to be for certain.

I enjoyed your report, Mr Symian.

Entertaining to read, I especially like your attitude when you responded to the tax-hike on the customs offices.

Isogen 5 had offered it's services to Mr Symian, willing to send a fleet to aid in the defence of the system he speaks of, but unfortunately the offer was not received in time to prevent the loss of the system to forces from Sleeper Social Club.

Commiserations on the outcome, Mr Symian, though my family and I wish you a speedy re-establishment and return to life in Anoikis should it be your intention.

And As the lovely Miss Dusette mentioned rapture has indeed fallen.

Vapor thanks her for her offer and the offers of many supporters who tried to help but it was fairly methodical and rapid and the loss of their ships would of made The Lord Vapor cringe and compacted the defeat.

The community was unable to raise the necessary force to counter the Sleeper Social offensive but let it be said they did not go down willingly.

In a last ditch effort the community decided that this force was by all intentions trapping them and was massing purely for the assets they had collected in their two towers, so a plan was formed and was horrific in its creation...
The call was made (good or ill) for the destruction of all ships and the jettison of collected assets in an attempt to lose the interest of the Sleeper Savages...It failed.

It was a hard thing destroying their ships and The Vapor Lord even bumped a couple out so that they may live for another day. The community snuck out as many assets that they could in daring cloaked trips through bubbled and patrolled Wormholes.

Commander Arty was left no choice but to self-Destruct "Bazza" the myrmidon that could. But our group left with motivation refreshed and their skill hardened by the Vortex Fire

The Lord Vapor was impressed with WHs and the skillset his little community had developed will leave them in good stead for all of their future endeavours. It must be said that the sleepers were doing what any self-respecting WH alliance would do and testing the nerve of those who wish to live in the WH space

Maybe they should of not of condescendingly lectured the lord Vapor and promised to shoot him or any of his community on site if they ever dared to enter WH space again...their might of been a POCO oracle fleet for them

Rapture will rise again and this is not the end of the WH space for the community

To be continued...

The archivist sits down and continues the tale...

The Vaporian forces had rallied and were determined to become a force of the new age

The Forges blazed!

The ships for thousands were built and the secrets to the highest technological wonders known to Empire space and beyond were researched for the massive task ahead

The threats that had arisen from the appearance of Caroline's star were not no be trifled with. The threat The Vaporian Baron saw coming was of such a extreme danger level that desperate action was required of ALL pilots as the Seeker appearance boded doom for even these demigods of the galaxy.

In Rapture his forces were able to recover valuable clues in order to increase his understanding of the Incoming cataclysm before him He needed to set up strategies and establish the infrastructure that would probably burn out before all was said and done. This will not be a battle it would be a step to prevent genocide

But first his legion would need training and so he worked on setting up security in the high sec space declaring war on any who work to destroy the growing unity behind Vapors Ideals a bastion of strength known only as Sivalan Knights

how you may ask was the lord Vapor able to draw so many?...his secret (some speculate) was his Vibrant Insanity anywhere he seemed to go chaos and excitement quickly followed.

The Lord Vapor was considered "The Mad King" among the Scope pilots as he was mad for even attempting to rally the individualistic pilots of Hisec empire space for any price let alone a dream and a god complex. he has on many occasions proven them wrong and would do so many times again before this story has been said and done...

"But that dear space children will be continued tomorrow night"

The Archivist stands quietly glides to the nearby Holoshelf and reinserts the story to the archive

The Tale continues in the garden the Archivist has had a couple of drinks and seems happy to talk about the Vapor

*looks up at the young pilot walking towards him*

Archivist-Hello Pilot
Pilot- Hello sir I was wondering whatthe Vaporian Lords story was?
Hrrm hrrm…why not, righto sit down and listen then…

He is not technically a clone , He simply one day formed in one of the vats with no primary host. Without life experience he initially struggled to decipher the world around him but that did not last long. Gallante scientists studying him were amazed for his neural pathways grew at an unbelievable speed almost by deliberate design

Within days he was up and functional and appeared to be completely at ease in his new body he spoke all the space languages fluently and easily encompassed human knowledge except for so distinctly human traits that still baffle him to this day. He formed without history and seemed fascinated by names and asked for one. They chose Vapor Ventrillian and he approved
Why Vapor? When asked initially for his name all he could say was "The Vapour the Vapour" and so he was named and Ventrillian was the name of the destroyed clone that he replaced.

The Scientific Community being Gallante realised that as he possessed a sentience they could not keep him confined without charge. And so after Furious debate he was released where he promptly disappeared only to return a year later and began forming his Fleets

Where had he gone? Why was he here? Why did he believe he ruled the Capseleer People are questions that if asked he will simply smile and wink (he loves to wink and don’t bother to ask him why either)

But Pilot unless you have more Amarrin Blue our conversation is at an….ZzZzzzzzzz

Till next time it seems...

High Sec Uprising

After the Shattering defeat at Rapture the idea came forward to create a loose confederacy that would serve to unify the capseleer people for the future challenges it would face.

This alliance would successfully represent all of Eve's various capseleer lifestyles and to make sure they could find like minded comrades that could help them along that path. The Humble Servant of the Raptor realised that all lifestyles will be needed for the coming conflict...and he was of course right

The Vaporians had learned a great deal and approached this latest endeavour in a much more open and inclusive mindset. They began to speak to the other powers in The High security space to form a high sec coalition with the desire to keep the Nulli/lowsec and wh cousins happily distracted, entertained and educated

His plan was simple- he would a create a series of raids into these Systems with the intend of healthy conflict. These would serve to

1- Remove the Highseccers fear of these systems in a safer fleet environment.
2- encourage the "fight" response in peaceful groups within high sec in order to restore health in the markets countering the Inflation within them and ergo help make high sec profitable again.
3- keep the Wh/Null/Low cousins entertained with massive conflicts that would challenge those of an aggressive nature into becoming stronger faster and diabolical pilots without have scramble every kill mail crumb just to survive.

Lord Vapor had realised also that due to the immense size of this galaxy many Solo Battle Angels were struggling to find each other in the frigid wastes of low sec and this simply could not do. And so a highly classified concept was contrived that would bring the lone wolves of New Eden great satisfaction and begin the inevitable rise of the Vaporian Dynasty

So the Vaporian Alliance would move into what would be called its golden age, a time of immense joy and excitement, a time of great progress and destruction.

And this time would be the beginning of something truly mammoth in scale
