Nightmare X (Small gang Nightmare PvP)

Hey all, for some time now I have been promising a nightmare PvP video. I finally have enough footage to show some of it too you. Let me know what you think.

I will be making a commentary version soon, expect it in a day or two.
Overall I really enjoy the nightmare. Its pretty challenging to fly, and honestly I get overwhelmed dealing with all of the active mods / flying the thing while in big fights. Not flying it optimally yet, need way more practice :)

Seemed flat to me.......

Not that it was a bad video, it really wasnt....... its just that I think DHB WildCat kinda set the bar stupid high for Nightmare videos.


Also change the name of the video, I literally thought it was another NightmareX video and almost didnt watch it because of it.

You (rightfully) wouldn't think it was so flat if it was sped up to 2x speed and had more than 4 minutes put into editing it. Also the whole nightmareX thing is the joke.

And I thought it was somethign about NightmareX when I saw the title.

Great video and +1 for having the balls to fly pirate BS against the blobs.

Sorry you didn't enjoy it, and yah wildcat has some really great footage. Personally I am really struggling using BS in the current meta (Solo / small gang) Personally I think that the machariel is the only way to go. Otherwise your BS needs a 8man proper gang built around it, in order for it to work.

2-3 webs on u, u had 2 neuts, but didn't want to save nightmare. VERY strange moment.

Neuts are best support for killing enemy, u can break cap = no speed, no cap for tank, no cap for range-rep, no web on u.
More keep at range, its not a slicer, its bs with bad tracking. fewer attempts to try to orbiting enemy fleets.
In BUZ u can keep at ranging caracals, use multics and BURNED ALL with 1k dps :)

Looking back at it, I was not considering the web issue. Frankly I tilted and flew really poorly. You bring up a great point, and I have plenty of room to improve there.

As for the BUZ fight- I keep at range because I don't want to be anywhere near ships, in a situation where they have 2X carrier skynet and a blob that can warp in on top of me.

Battleships \o/

Would've been a bit more fun to watch sped up in my opinion.
Footage / fights were good. Hoped it to be solo though without support Big smile

Keep it up! Battleships are bad in the currunt meta if you roam in them. I feel like searching the map or killboards
for proper gangs to fight is the best method to effectively use them for solo.
Use them when the right gangs knock at your door.

Machariel is obviously a different story as it has a faster warp speed.
