Hi,

This seems to be going on for a really long time now. Hopefully this gets through to some of the potential buyers:

If all you desire is to add game time to one of your existing accounts, then know this:
You can redeem a PLEX anywhere from EVE. It doesn't matter in which Item Hangar it resides. It can be 0 or 60 jumps away - it doesn't matter.

If you're not near one of the major trade hubs and don't have an Alt there for some reason, simply ask your friends to purchase the PLEX for you there and then have them contract it over to you.

Next, open your assets window, right click on the PLEX and add the game time to your account.

Stop paying absurd prices for 60 Day Time Cards (or do at your own wallet's peril).

Aahhh, human stupidity.

Also I thought time cards were removed all together and replaced with PLEX codes?

Can redeem from anywhere... doesn't matter which Hangar.

Nope, does not compute.

You mean "activate" not "redeem". Items that haven't been redeemed yet
aren't sitting in any hangar at all. They exist in a quantum state, everywhere at once,
until their superposition is collapsed.

That ringing in your ears you're experiencing right now is the last gasping breathe of a dying inner ear as it got thoroughly PULVERISED by the point roaring over your head at supersonic speeds. - Tippia

You buy the plex from CCP and fly to where you want them to be in that stations hangar and then redeem.

But yes the OP started with the idea of adding game time and you would be correct in activating it.

This reminds me ... my reseller raised the price by an euro in the last month.

Now it's 27 bucks for two PLEX. pfffff.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with transporting your plex to a more convenient station. Feel free to use shuttles, frigates, haulers, heck even a well-tanked battlecruiser or battleship would work well, especially if you're going into lowsec with them.

Cool

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

Shuttles. Also fantastic for transporting those pesky T2 or titan BPOs. AFK autopilotting is optional.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

If you plan to transport a PLEX to a safe station before you cash it in, give me a call. I'll escort you.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

You might be surprised at the number of people in the world who live by a set of principles which prevent them from sitting idly by as others are taken advantage of. It's just isk, trading, and their own decision, but likely the OP just wanted to ensure these people knew their options.

Without such personalities, we would all still be living in the Dark Ages.

Game Time Cards (GTC)? Get with the program. This is EVE. Lose that generic MMO jargon please.

That being said, I'm offering my services to test PLEX for free. If you're not sure if your PLEX will work properly,
contract it to me and I'll verify it for you.

Eve had Dark Ages?

Reported for violation of forum rules and attracted attention to ISD to lock this for forum rule violation.

To assist the great ISDs in this world, I will already list the rule here...so they only have to type Thread closed and save some time.

The bumping of posts to alter the order of the thread listing on a forum is prohibited outside the EVE Marketplace and Alliance & Corporation Recruitment forum channels. Within the EVE Marketplace section of the forums, each forum category has its own rules regarding acceptable bumping for sales threads clearly listed in the stickies.

Similarly the Alliance & Corporation Recruitment channel also has its own rules. Please be aware that the rules vary from forum to forum. Please review the sticky threads in these forum channels for specific details.

Help channel: Help chat - Reloaded

Public roams channels: RvB Ganked / Redemption Road / Spectre Fleet / Bombers bar / The Content Club

It's not all human error. People buying ETCs may be doing so because they've abused the Hours for Plex system either deliberately or in error and can't get that account online to buy a plex from the ingame market. Players can petiton and request a reset of H4P, and as far as I can tell, provided they don't act like a muppetoid on the petition and don't persist in abusing it the GMs are willing to reset the option. The people selling may not have the ISK to log in and put those ETCs up as Plex, or they might just be in a rush to sell.

Parts of this game revolve around players outsmarting each other, and that includes people who are foolish enough to attempt to PTW without due care and attention. You may find it a bit odd, and perhaps exploitative, but there's no need (or point) creating threads in GD to try to warn people about what a lot of us consider stating the obvious. And bumping is bad, generally.

If you think new players might be at risk, it might be worth posting this in New Citizens Forum or reddit. Rather than create topics warning people about these types of issue, it might be more productive to raise a query in the first instance. It saves you being slapped about by trolls, and it's more of a conversation rather than making posts as announcements.

Just sayin.

TL;DR If you didn't read the entire post perhaps you're probably ADHD. (seek help)
