I know this will be locked, but please just answer my ticket it's been

5 days now that you haven't responded. I'm asking for the smallest

things in EvE that seem to be the biggest issue.

Thanks

5 days is nothing. Try waiting 2 months. If its a small thing, then its likely to be pushed to the back of the line.

2 months wow I never knew it would be that long. I just asked them to move my clone

which would take literally 5 mins of their time ?

Why should they move your clone, you can do that yourself

Um yeah I messed up with the clones. It will take another year to move it to

my corps offices. So I asked very nicely to reset it

I thought you could change the location of your medical clone when ever you wanted. You just need to fly to the station you want to relocate the clone to. I thought it was just the remote changing of location that had the timer on it.

Or has that changed?

Edit:

The year cooldown for moving your medical clone only applies if you want to move it remotely. You can always move it to the station you are currently docked in.

So Op, fly to your ship to the station you want your med. clone in and you can move it there.

Source It was part of the Phoebe travel changes.

The only thing that I know of that takes a year in this game is the remap cool down.

Ok let me explain. I wanted to go back to high right from null so i set my station to my school system.

Then i podded myself and then I was in high right. So now I wanted to go back to Null and what you know

it's locked. So I tried everything including WHs to find a safe way back to my home system.

I hope that expalins it better. I know about the station thing I can't get there to set it ! :D

Fly there. It will be quicker than waiting for a petition. There is also no guarantee a GM will undo your mistake.

You want to set it back remotely, while you already set one remotely earlier which is what's limited. You have several ways of dealing with it; flying back to 0.0 is one, making use of jump clones is another. Why should they do that for you if you chose to use up the timer while you still have other options?

And folks wonder why their legitimate petitions take so long. I would be embarrassed.

If your corp has a home office in that station, it will allow you to set a medical clone there, even if you are in a different system.

If not, then its pretty much your fault, its not even a mistake or a glitch, so i doubt the GM will move you. Nothing is preventing you from moving there yourself.

I made a 60 jump in my loki to reach my nullsec alliance once. And then did it a couple more times in a ceptor to move stuff around. Its not hard.

did they add a timer to moving you clone's home station?

If you are looking to have a GM fix your mistake you must be newer to this game than 2012 either that or just not played nor read these forums much. The Devs and GMs aren't very interested in holding your hand or softening the game experience. This game is harsh it's intended to be harsh and if you screwed yourself I'll be surprised if your ticketed isn't answered with a "It sucks to be you" or even just an "LoL"

Watch the HTFU video and then get in an interceptor and head back to null. Either that or try hello kitty online.

As part of the "power projection" changes in the Phoebe patch (which happened earlier this last year)...

- you can remotely change your home/clone station only once per year (or 2-3 times if you are a brand new character).
However, you can change your home/clone station anytime you dock in one (for a 100k ISK fee).

This was done because "Death Cloning" (see: setting "home/clone station" and killing yourself to instantly move around the map) was seen as a "power projection" issue... and a workaround from the intended Jump Clone mechanics.

In other words...

- use a jump clone and wait through its 19 to 24 hour timer of you want to hop around the map on a whim.
- take the "long way" and fly to your destination.

The idea is that you are supposed to "commit" (at least for a short time) to any far flung area you move to... or put yourself at risk if you need to move around ASAP (by flying gate to gate).

My money is that the GM will not "reset" anything. You are running into an intended mechanic.

ps: GMs don't look at the forums... they work at their own pace. And ISDs are only player volunteers that keep the forums clean... so they can't do anything.

pps: the average wait time for petitions is 1 to 2 weeks.

Yeah thanks for the advice I thought it might be a game mechanic that can't be changed.

I'll keep the ticket open and just wait like I should have. I cry erytiem

GM's still browse the forums every once in a while but most of the time they're usually focused on a specific thread.
