Go to the other station, board the ship, put the ammo in the cargo bay and fly to the target station

The "stranded" ship is my starting Velatore and there are 300 anti-matter charges in Duripant.

I'm calling Couster home at the moment.

I went there in my Venture but the charges would not load into the cargo bay.

I know how to switch ships. I don't know how to co-locate them to the same place. I don't want to swap the locations of the Venture and Velatore.

I do understand that I can switch "home" but I don't need or want to at this point.

When docked, right click your active ship in the inventory screen and click leave ship (I think), you will then be only in your pod. Undock with the pod, fly to the other station and enter the other ship to fly it back.

The cargo of Venture is very small, but 300 charges of that kind are less than 1m3
Are you sure that you are not trying to put them in the Ore Bay?

For the ship, trash it or sell it.
You can have a new one at your destination place.
Dock in a station with your Venture, leave the ship in the hangar and undock with the pod, then dock to another station where you don't have any ship. There you will receive a new rookie ship.

Slightly long-term option once you are out of trial period (maybe before, depends on when you can train industrials):

Get an industrial, or a freighter or an orca or something with a large cargo hold. You can load ships into a cargo hold and carry several at once.

For reference, a repackaged frigate takes about 3000m2. Assembled is significantly larger but should still fit in an industrial. Destroyers should fit and even cruisers if you ship repackaged.

The other day I moved 3 cruisers and about 10 frigates down from Jita to Amo in a transport ship (T2 industrial) in one trip.

Larger ships, or short term before you can get into industrials you can use one of the methods above.

Don't sweat it. It's actually a very common question from new players and this is exactly the right place to ask it.

In general it's a good idea to fly around in a rookie ship or shuttle instead of just your pod. Gives you an extra layer of protection in case something crazy happens. Some people target pods that linger on gates, even in high sec.

If I'm not wrong, assembled ship cannot be placed in an industrial, even a shuttle and/or using expanded cargohold, is not a matter of size.
Not sure if T2 can do that, but T2 and freighters are more a long term solution.

perfect skilled industrials fitted for cargo get around 40km3 of cargo, an assembled frigate is typically 2.5km3, cruiser around 10km3

My apologies, I got confused between the fleet hanger which can take assembled ships and the cargo bay which can't due to arbitrary restrictions. Also my numbers and units were off;

Correction time, a repackaged frigate only takes 2500m^3. If you were so inclined you could put one in a giant secure container and carry the frigate and 1400m^3 fittings and ammo (gotta love time-lord science: GSCs have a larger capacity than their external volume!), or just carry the frigates and fittings open in the cargo. You don't have to repackage the modules, those will go in your cargo assembled.

Alternatively; carriers, orcas, rorquals, bowheads, deep space transports (but not blockade runners), basically anything with either a fleet hanger or a ship maintenance bay can carry assembled ships in those special hangers. If for whatever reason you don't want to repackage a ship (for example if it has rigs) then use one of these to carry it. Or have an alt or friend put it in a courier contract (which puts it in a special container which means it's exempt from the normal cargohold restrictions except for volume).

Or contract a corp like 'Red Frog' to shift your stuff for you. Their prices are extortionate for small loads though so you might want to use other methods until you have enough isk/cargo to make it worthwhile.

I was trying to drag the ammo onto the ship in Fitting view. Dragging it from item hanger to ship hold worked, of course.
