Oh come on......joining some carebear's highsec lvl4 corp was the funniest **** ever, any half assed recruiter could spot you from a mile away but now team 5-0 is ruining the fun and adding another hand holding feature

wasn't the safety button enough?

Yeah it's a bullshit change.

Giving carebears even more power about new players,
as if that will help anything at all.

Next stop: Removing wardecs, because more people will wardec worthless new player corps.

Oh that.

That's old news, lah

Hardly bothers you if its a kill worth taking in a corp worth shaking

And before you say, no I dont agree that it should happen, but Ill adapt.

Old news stays old.

Breaking news of today is about someone giving away 100 PLEX...uhm...I mean an Avatar...ooh skip that...It's now a character for charity...oh, that's already down too, never mind.

Aah, screw it, let's pretend that Team 5-0's proposed change is breaking news again.

The problem is other. THe problem is that serious corps would NOT recruit new players.. fearign those to be awox alts. THis will make corp smore likely to recruit new players. ITs good for the weakest part of the community.

Ugh the worst part.

Still, they will be AWOXed when they take their new recruit out to see their lovely WH set up

That's cause maybe...those corps, do not want to recruit new players at all anyway.

A corp that is open to new players, will accept new players even now.
A corp that isn't open to new players, will not accept new players, even after the change.

Mention on o7 show, they will be letting Corps toggle on or off friendly fire. Since it is a choice that Corps can make RvB and the like are fine.

Generally speaking there is nothing of worth to be gained from blowing up a shitfit highsec bear raven, the real reward is in taking everything they own from their hangers and bank accounts.

My bet is, that most of the CEOs/Corporations that fell victim to this in the past won't be able to find the checkbox to disable blue fire within the corp. Probably not that much of a change.

Its a sad day when you can't abuse new players huh. That's one of the biggest problems in this game with getting new blood is you high sec gankers looking for your "good fights" chase people off before they even have a chance to understand what is happening. Sure they dump in plex for big shiny ships that are all but useless in their hands and then you happily take it from them. You should troll people who can actually fight back for a change.

Not to say I never kill actual newbies .. but when I do I throw them some isk and some sound advice to go with it just to make their day not quite as bad. - true story

Please, point on the mock-up rifter where the big bad person touched your ship.

p.s. most of the kills you describe, come from a war-dec, not an AWOX. And cause they lost it in a wardec, it just shows that most of the high-sec corps are ****, lead by people as clueless as a new player.

No awoxer will ever go after new players, nothing to gain from new players. Unless they empty out their CC on a game they don't know, but that is still their own damn choice to do. An Awoxer will go after juicy targets, which...heh, how surprising...usually are the veterans in high-sec.

Classic case of the blind, trying to lead the blind.

What makes you think high sec gankers don't do exactly this?

As to this change, take a look at the Awoxers killboard. The average age of the characters awoxed in anger is over three years old (yes I did the math). Awoxing is (was?) a problem for older, established players with assets, not new players.

Still, if the change has to go through I am glad it is opt-in. Too many problems would have been caused without that. Now it is just a minor buff to highsec safety rather than a disaster for intracorp training/sparring for corps like RvB.

Ccp... war evasion is the SINGLE MOST BIGGEST REASON PEOPLE STAY IN NPC CORPS.

This wont encourge people to join player corps (why is why they are doing this as stated in csm sum mins)

Errybody still gonna goto npc corps for war evasion.

Wardecs gone next when they realise this??

Good, being able to shoot your own corpmates outside of duals was a stupid mechanic anyway. Glad to see it go.

Maybe the people who play this game purely to grief others will finally find something else to do. Now just fix wardec griefing and everything is right with the world once again.
