Why do HICs use double bubble?

Hello All

Simple question really. I was looking at Onyx and Broadsword fittings online and noticed that all of them have double bubble as standard. Now the issue is my google searching didn't find any explanation as to why this is.

The only thing I could think of was that it enables you to emit a field while also shutting down a ship with a second scripted bubble, is this typically the reason why you take dual bubbles?

Buble reduce your mass, double buble interdictor have very small mass and can pass trough wormholes as if they were a frigate.

And supper point and bubble or 2x supper point

The only major drawback is the crazed notion that the inventory would look so much better if merely rearranged ONE MORE TIME.

Its also handy if your victim tries to burn away. Trap him with bubble, put infinite point and drop bubble. They don't move at all fast with the bubble up, so your victim could easily burn away.

Also important recent change"When a Rorqual, Dreadnaught, Carrier, Supercarrier or Titan is pointed by a focused point they will not be able to jump through gates"
This means you can stop them from warping off and stop them from jumping.

In case you missed it, cap ships can now also use gates.. so a very nice bonus for the HIC's

... What next ??

This was changed in the Phoebe patch in November.

They still cannot take gates into high sec, just FYI.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

They now can but that's new and don't use gates it's just asking for a lossmail cyno station to station ever ware unless you are using them pvp (don't unless you haft to even then)
Also learn to fly caps from expenced cap people

Yep, most groups use gates when they have support. PL recently moved a fleet 20ish supers, some titans and carriers from catch through gates to their new battlefield. My numbers are probably a little off.. lvl5 mission runners with scouts are also now juming their carriers through gates.

... What next ??
