Looking for largest/most active Amarr FW corp currently fighting.

First off I know this is kind of a looking-for-guild thread, but as anyone who's ever used the recruitment forum knows, after 15 minutes your thread is 3-4 pages back and never seen again till the next bump. So I'm kind of forced to put this here if I ever want an answer.

I'm finally ready to jump into Faction Warfare, however I'm having issues finding a larger and/or more active Amarr FW corp that flies in groups.

I refuse to fly the overpowered ship of the month (Currently appears to be Ishtars.) so I'm looking for a more "group-oriented" corp that is really active in FW. (And by association normally large.)

Has to be an "AMARR" FW corp, not a caldari FW one. (Though I don't mind an amarr FW corp that fights in the caldari zone.)

I have done a fair bit of research into current corps, but most of those actively recruiting are like 6-11 people, which just isn't going to be active enough for me. And some of the big ones I looked into a while ago have changed quite a bit, shrunk, joined caldari FW, or stopped recruiting.

If anyone can point me towards one that meets my needs, just let me know.

PS: I'm US timezone, but I play at all hours.

The ones I see most out in space (in numbers) are Calibrared Chaos and Dirt n Glitter. Calibrated Chaos advertise themselves as elite PVP so depending on your kill board they might be ok for you. I am in EU TZ.

Does Fweddit count as the largest most active Amarr group? :p

Dng and calibrated chaos are your only options then.

Ok, thank you both, I'm not fond of KB wh***s, (I'll fly into a battle as long as there is even the slightest chance of winning.) so I guess that leaves the other corp, I'll contact them and see if they fit.

You can try Calibrated, I remember joining with a **** KB. We don't mind losses as long as they are not repeatedly idiotic.

We have some relaxed doctrines for large non-frig operations though. You can talk about this to your recruiter.

Or try us under the D6 alliance banner. Nightly roams in groups with a chill group who fight in both our own Amarr WZ and in the Caldari WZ more recently.

Still not sure you'd be a good fit for me, but I'll read up on you some more.

I'll have a talk with one of your recruiters when I get on later.

....

I had a chat with a Dirt & Glitter recruiter, seemed like a decent fit for the most part, although it mainly dealt with just frig and dessies (Not a bad thing, can blow those things up for years without feeling the wallet pinch.) My only real issue I had with them was that they are based out of gallente space, which poses logistical headaches and then some.

I had no luck finding ANY information on who to talk to about joining you guys. No chat channels, no recruiters, no corporation ads, not even a website. (Other than linked killboards.) Unless you guys recruit via invite, I'm surprised you have anyone join at all, as it appears to be setup to prevent people from joining.

....

Anyway, Calibrated really didn't look like a good fit, too much killboard focus for me. (The bain of eve online.) Which is obviously something I hate as it ruins fun pvp, and increases ship spinning 4000% in a corp.

So... I still have no alternative to the logistical nightmare of Dirt&Glitter.

I would join DnG really - I wouldn't worry about logistics in that some of them are still in the Amarr Warzone and it is likely the rest will come back!

Your only other option is to join a different militia it sounds like but you are set on Amarr it sounds like.

Thanks.

Nameira Vanis-Tor: I still plan to join them if I can't find a better fit within a week or so. I wish I could explain exactly what the logistical nightmare is and why it's such a deterrent to joining them. But that's not something I want to plaster on the forums. I'll still do it, but only if I absolutely have no alternative. As it would take potentially weeks to resolve.

6-11 is pretty standard tbh unless something huge is going down. This is fw not sov. I dont know if i'm seen a fleet of one corp or alliance over 15 in fleet since we joined 2 months ago.

Well an idea is using you charisma to actually grab all of those Amarr Fw pilot corps

bring them into a alliance type organisation and maybe even set up a Amarr FW channel and link them up to it as you see them out and about soon you will have a amarr community that can be asked at anytime they are on

I have a feeling that to get what you want you need to build it in this game
