Clarity on beta map (Right Click Panning)

To start, I love the new map, it is so nice and clean and easy to use compared to the old map. With this last update how ever an important functionality was removed and I requesting some clarity on the patch notes. The patch note reads:

New Map: Right mouse button no longer pans the map. For now, players must click on different systems to center on them, effectively panning the map.


The removal of right click panning has made the new map extremely hard for me to use and I am wondering why this was removed and if it will be back in the future? The notes state that "For now" you have to pan by clicking on systems, this is why I am asking for clarification.

pretty sure it was removed as they are still working out bugs and streamlining code

is there really no feed back thread for the beta map? or did you just not look

To OP: I noticed this on SiSi as well and it's decidedly unpleasant. I'm hoping it's a bug or a temporary situation and that the functionality will be returned with all possible haste.

There isn't one. Did you check before accusing someone else of posting in the wrong place, or did you just blindly leap onto a cheap opportunity to be unnecessarily snarky to someone?

The majority of your posts strike me as wishing people would stop posting in F&I altogether. Is that really a healthy attitude to have?

i won't use it without being able to pan the map

it make it 1000 times more awkward to use now
