OK 1st let me tell you what I want to ship to do, it needs to bump a cruiser (to keep it away from its target) take the damage from the smart bombs it's self, add damage to the ganking ship , also gate camp ready to attack any normal ganking attack by code types

I know this is a lot to ask for one ship, oh and low skill points to boot as well as low cost (I fear I will be a gank target soon)

So far been using a moa with a shield tank, even with low skills it holds well under s/bomb attack , mwd to bump,
2 energy neuts (my thinking here, the guy need power for smartbomb attacks) but not sure about these
Then 3 med blasters (best named until T2) to add some damage
Lows damage mods and DCU

So a mixed bag of a ship, any recommendations of ship type and fit would be great

Whenever we are ****ing with code we use falcons, as many falcons as we can get together and start jamming them as soon as they land, it's mad funny.

This should end hilariously.

I see you met Posax.

Use an Arty Tornado, blap him from a distance, you wont alpha him but combined with the gate guns he will die a lot faster than usual.

If you actually want to stop him before he kills things, figure out his perches that he bounces from and lock him down there with a distruptor so you can stay out of range of his smart bombs.

Thxs for your tips, looking forward to a Tornado,
as for my anti ganking it's going great 2 posax kills and 2 code kills
so very pleased (well I got on the kill mail just, but loving it so far)
Still not sure if neuts are doing much, may just switch to all guns

Ugh
I can see from the damage you have done, those are not kills, those 4 kills are Concord horing.
To be anti-ganking, you actually have to stop the gank.

But hey, if you are having fun, that's all that matters, just sayin' those are not kills.

Ok good point, but 1 code loses we did stop it and one posax he went after me , so not totally a whore, you have to take what is given anyway it's all up close and fun........

Also my damage is very low with t1 blasters, just hope bump, Web, and neut are making it harder for them

Are ECM bursts any good for stopping gank catalysts? I'd imagine not because one of the golden rules is to never use an ECM burst in highsec or risk the wrath of CONCORD.

Yes Concord which is not that bad, it's the battle ship I can't run to right now.
And this will not stop smart bombing anyway but OK for a freighter gank,
Thanks for replying anyway

I've played around with bumping ships, both in support of and in opposition to, hisec suicide ganks. My favorite ship for this is a 100MN MWD Omen. It's cheap and it's a very effective bumper when flown well.

I'll leave the specific fitting up to you, but this is what I use:

3x Overdrive Injector System II
3x Inertial Stabilizers II

Prototype 100MN Microwarpdrive I
Large Peroxide Capacitor Power Cell*
Cap Recharger II

Highs to suit (Salvagers work well since you'll be nearly out of PG and there will be lots of wrecks.)

3x Medium Ancillary Current Router I

Nearly 7km/s cold, although it does take almost two full cycles to reach max speed. It'll break 10km/s heated with good skills. This is great for bumping freighters or anything stationary, but don't expect to bump anything maneuvering.

Navy Omens do it better, but their pricetag isn't worth the slight gain in performance you get in my opinion.

*I go with a battery instead of recharge mods and rigs because the instantaneous drain of the MWD is just so massive compared to the base capacitor of a cruiser. You can get better cap stability on paper with a more conventional recharge fit, but there is the real possibility of a badly timed MWD cycle dropping you straight past your peak recharge into cap oblivion. Using a battery helps prevent that.

I did think it was weird that somebody was trying to stop me with neuts. Now I know that you weren't really after me at all. I feel so unwanted and unloved.

There once was a ganker named tisi

A stunningly beautiful missy

To gank a gross miner

There is nothing finer, cept when they get all pissy

Of course your wanted, just not ready for you at that time, maybe a per-battle hug would make you feel less unloved

If you want a DPS / high speed cruiser a Stabber is the fastest T1 cruiser. It has space for nuets, and Autos and you can get an OK shield buffer on it.
