Just returned to the game after ~2 years. Moving to drone regions...

...And I'm not sure how to approach sanctums (or the drone equivalent of. I forget the name.).

What ship should I be looking at? I can fly anything subcap (If all goes well I'll move a carrier pilot out eventually). Would an ishtar or Legion be enough (I hear the drones only have about 30km range so the legion would be a breeze if its dps is high enough) or am I going to need something... more... to actually make any worthwhile isk?

Any pointers accepted really.

"Drone Horde" is what you're thinking of.

It's easily doable in a sniper battleship (cruise raven) or a well-skilled T3. There are neuting towers and a few batteries to worry about and it takes a *long* time to completely clear, though.

I haven't tried it in an Ishtar yet, but there shouldn't be any reason you can't speed tank most of it while prioritizing the webbing frigates.
