Allow me to put plainly what you just stated:

"Don't be so nice! I have the right to insert my own convoluted, unrelated, hostile opinions into whatever discussion I feel like doing so because it's my right!"

And yes, your opinions are unrelated because this thread was started by a Matari showing respect and humility toward his enemies. His enemies responded by showing mutual respect.

Then others interjected their own opinions, forcing one side to defend itself but the entire conversation remained mostly civil. That is, of course, until you decided to jump in and hypocritically arrogantly accuse one side of being arrogant while undermining the entire purpose of the thread to start with.

Seriously, stop pleasuring yourself with your own arrogance, ignorance and hypocrisy and let those capable of carrying on a civil conversation do so without your petulant interjections. You're a disgrace to both of your ancestries.

Highly inaccurate analogy. Swords cause as much as damages than they prevent them. You only see on the shorter run. Would the shield have been a real shield, the attack you mention would have been restrained earlier.

Of course, you can just take that as the words of someone that have fought more than 3 years in the militia for the Empire, watching people spilling endlessly oil on fire with their swords and weapons for no positive result.
