When emptying items from the Mobile Tractor unit, it closes the window.

Its a pain in the ass.

i prefer right click functionality.. makes the map harder too use now , was hoping for some directionality aswell .. i want to see were my ship is pointing

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

At work we have a firewall that stops eve from working. When I try and run eve at work, it says "Unable to connect to 87.237.38.200 on port 26000". I just now checked.

BTW, it does work for me on a connection without that firewall.

Edit: This may actually be a clue to what is going on. In the past, CCP has done something to a build that makes it tickle a firewall in a way that causes a normally cooperative firewall to start blocking eve. Maybe you can check or adjust your firewall?

I haven't turned the asteroid effects on, because on SISI you could not turn them back off without reducing the shader level to low, which made everything else look like sh!t.

I reported it in the test server thread, but (surprise surprise) CCP ignored most of the replies there.

I'm unable to run the patcher.

It seems to be downloading part of the patch and then stops. At first I thought it was congestion or strained servers and waited a while, but the launcher still only downloads about 15-25% before freezing. I have to use Task Manager to kill it. When I restart the launcher it gets stuck immediately, when I delete the downloaded file the process starts anew.

The Repair tool also freezes while downloading, even when launched as admin.

Does anyone have a suggestion how to run the patch?

Every now and then the launcher continued the download if I restarted it after it froze, so I was eventually able to get the full patch and apply it.

Type-D Restrained Nanofiber Structure in patch notes says that velocity boos is 8,5% but in game it 7,75% Where is mistake?

JAN 2015: NEW/EXISTING ISSUES:

CORP SELLING DRAG/DROP: "Drag and drop" selling still does not function when attempting to drag items to sell from a corporate hangar. Only way to sell multiple items is to select them all, then sell, or right-click and select "sell" to force the client to add that item to existing open selling window.

NEOCOM ICONS STUCK AS "TRANSLUCENT": The Neocom panel is unable to be made opaque. Disturbing considering its top "E" (EVE) symbol, avatar pic, training graphic and bottom clock areas are opaque. PROBLEM: Hard to distinguish icons from bright graphics in background. Good example: when using "Carbon" theme with TRANSPARENCY=0. The icons are difficult enough to distinguish, but especially in a Caldari station with bright/reflective backgrounds (or in space with a bright star) "underneath" the Neocom.

TAB VISIBILITY: "Tabs" are not clearly distinguishable. They are simply words. Providing dividing lines to help discern/define where you can drag to/select would help.

"SEARCH FOR RECIPIENTS" UI BUG: No matter how big you resize this window (Example: clicking "To" when creating a new mail), the input field is overlapped by the "SEARCH" button.

PERSONAL ASSETS UI BUG: When open, the name of the systems/stations overlap all the background "columns with lines" (Quantity,Group,Size,Slot,Volume).

NOTIFICATION SETTINGS DUPLICATE BUG: "CLONE ACTIVATION" is listed TWICE under: "Notification Settings: Category Subscriptions: Miscellaneous".

CONTRACT BUG: When right-click "Create Contract" of anything, the default opening Creat Contract window has the bottom two lines overlapping: "On behalf of (corp wallet name)" overlapped by "Outstanding Contracts: (x/xx)". Only way to read it is to expand from your own default size.

CONTRACT ICON BUG: Still not being notified/flashing of a new contract UNTIL "Contracts" icon is actually clicked. Seems pointless to be notified "after the fact".

NOTIFICATIONS BUG: Notification settings still not behaving according to any changes of delay time or stack sizes, even when changed via slider options in Notification settings.

SCIENCE/INDUSTRY UI: Manufacturing jobs do not update themselves when jobs are delivered, in terms of "xx/11" manufacturing slots, for example. One must close the Industry window, then reopen it to clear all "delievered"(faded) jobs.

DARKENING/REFOCUSING CLIENT: Constant color shade "refocusing" is distracting. Example: When trying to split-drag (CTRL+drag) an item from one place to another, the center window will pop up asking how much to move, but the entire screen darkens. Gets a bit distracting when split-dragging 50 items "quickly" and not able to see the rest of your inventory (this is using "Carbon" theme). It's behavior is almost identical to when one hits the ESC key.

ICONS: Icons would be more visible and efficient if we could "color"/"tint" certain icons to help visually distinguish hwhat are industrial icons versus inventory icons versus business icons, etc. Especially considering grouping does not seem to work.

GROUPING: "Grouping" icons does not seem to function as intended.

OVERVIEW NAVIGATION ICONS: It would help if the warp/approach/jump/etc symbols above the Overview were larger. Though they appear to be bolder, they have then been reduced in size, with no ability to resize them (like one can with in-station icon sizes).

ALLIANCE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS: There still has not been a solution to be "notified" if/when any corp has submitted an Alliance application - unlike how Corp applications are notified in the "Mail: Communications" tab.

WINDOW CORNERS/BORDERS: The window corners visually do not always "line up" next to each other. On some instances, when windows do line up next to each other, the 1 pixel line merges adjacently, forming a more visible 2 pixel line. But when they do not merge, you can see the background between a 1-2 pixel gap, even though the client insists your windows are "snapped next to each other".

Dunno if its been mentioned, but As of this morning, Incursion NPC's no longer switch targets once they spawn. I dont know if this was intended, or if its a bug.

So immediately upon logging in, I checked to see if mousing over chat tabs still stops them from flashing.

And it does.

Fix it. I don't care that this was intended, it's a bad feature that leads to unwanted behavior. Get rid of it.

"Selected Item" icons have two sizes, that I can see, just as I remember from before the "new UI." The chosen size is automatic, depending on window size. Grab a corner of the "Selected item" window, and stretch to see if the icon sizes change for you.

I would not mind seeing a faint dividing line. They are striving for a "clean" look, and intend the act of mouseover highlighting to mark out which words are associated with which tab. On a related note, the mouseover highlight color, is much too close to the active tab highlight color. If you have looked away from the screen, or are using multiple clients, or have lost track of the mouse cursor even though it might be right in front of you... you might get lost as to which tab is active.

I don't mind the new monochrome. We are stuck with it, UI devs have stated their case that studies show that shape identification is faster than shape+color. Separately, I've never used neocom groups before, but I had no trouble making a neocom group and dragging Assets and Inventory icons onto the new group icon.

I would like more color customization options (esp. UI theme) like many players, but wonder if one possible reason for their removal, is the number of support tickets they get for messed up settings. It doesn't matter if there is a 'reset" button on a tab called "reset settings", GM's still have to sort through those types of petitions.

Unfortunately we have no idea on why you are unable to connect to the server and it is quite likely that it is not caused by the EVE client or EVE server (but I cannot rule it out). I assume it will be best to create a support ticket. You can also try to gather logs and similar information and send a bug report (for details see the link in my signature).



well met me tell you one thing ive cleared every cach i repaired i rolled back i uninstalled and reinstalled rebooted everything on my end so its your issue u cant say its ours to many people have it after patch look at my play log in info ....

The new asteroid effects seem like they would look nice, but it's hard to tell without a "High" shader setting available under Mac OS X 10.10 with either a AMD Radeon M290X or M295X graphics card.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

If you turn off the new notification system, the mail icon no longer flashes when you receive notifications. Mail yes, notifications, no.

How about strange behavior of rats ? Even after today's DT and some "fixes" rats still attack my drones. And when i return my drones into drone bay, rats still dont attack my ship even if i use ewar modules on them and just swirling around my ship (i waited more then 5 min and rats still dont attack me). But if i launch drones into space rats instantly start attacking my drones. Is this some sort of new agrro mechanic or what ? And why theres nothing was said in patch notes about this ? Thank you.
