Proteus Release Issues

The Proteus release has been successfully deployed!

This release brings a whole host of module rebalancing and the introduction of several new module variants, as well as a redesign of the Exequror cruiser hull, new visual effects in asteroid belts to improve immersion, a re-balance of Recon cruisers, new features for the Beta Starmap, the introduction of small scale mining anomolies for rookie pilots in starter systems, the retiremement of Teams, new audio for Aura in Russian and German, and an awesome new theme tune from CCP RealX.

I've noticed a bug with the Proteus release... there's STILL no Khanid Gunner jacket.

Just heads up the Market display is mess up most stuff not being display. Don't worry a quick fix is to use the market search until they fix it. :) Ticket submitted

Ok found a easy fix. check your market setting. Even like me and it was on Region setting just click station and then back to Region and everything working correctly.

Guess it set everything to station but in my case the button was still displaying Region.

(Possible) Issue with the Beta Map:

Right-click dragging no longer functions.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Try to drag the beta map by holding down the right mouse button and moving the mouse in an arbitrary direction.
2. ???
3. Lose your Astero to a Goonswarm gatecamp.

Expected result:

Map moves in a direction approximately related to mouse movements.
Goons call you names in local.

Actual result:

Map refuses to move, instead settling down in Florida to retire early and start a family.
Goons call you names in local.

Patch dopwnloads the 200M fine but when applying the patch it gets to 5.2% and then throws out an exception error and wont go any further.

Nothing changed on the PC since I logged in before the patch so whats up ??

CCP is working on bringing right click panning back after some issues got fixed.

Wild guess: Do you happen to have a client still running? Maybe it's a stuck process, which you might want to check using the Task Manager, as it's possible that such stuck process is not shown in the task bar.

perhaps it's just me, but i can't get aggro on me, while ratting, and rats are trying to kill drones only. even when i take them back in cargo, they don't shoot me, they only shoot again when i drop drones.

You have a file open: close all clients, close the launcher, restart your computer, rerun the launcher as administrator.

Maybe same problem here, launcher just stoped working at 5.2%.

My solution was: go to launcher\cache directory, delete "checksum" and "client_validation" files and try again.

Rook still has its rof bonus listed at its traits, even though it has kinetic damage bonus in practice (rof bonus would actually be better in here btw)

i have same problem, first wave is okey, but new spawn aggress only my drones, i try fit cloak on my ship and when i cloak and decloak they started shooting me again but after next rats spawn, they aggress only my drones again... but i had this before, its not new problem, but looks like more ppl have that now

yep its confused my corpie when i mentioned it ..

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

Hi, never had this problem before, but same story here after the first spawn, ship is invisible to rats. They only see the drones, that's weird.

launcher is frozen, repair tool doesent work.. tryin to dovload the patch after DT.... no i dont have shity internet... :P

i was in game once i logged out and now trying to get back in i keep getting


Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong. well says its up 30k people online and well as for the internet um...




it also says 87.237.38.200 on port 26000
