When I return from my missions and sell my salvage(sometimes 30 or 40 items) when I log on the next day up to half of the items I sold are back in my items. Why does this happen? Is it because some aren't actually sold. Because at the time I sell them they disappear from my items but return the next day. Kinda confused on what actually happens when I sell an item.

You don't sell them but offer them on the market. If you want to offer them for longer then a day you need to click the appropriate buttons.

If you take all the sand out of the box, only the cat poo will remain.
