*Acceleration gates from different parts of space leading to the same battle grid (not an instance, que etc.) but simply a method of travel., some types of player created acceleration gates.

* Some type of hunting mechanic, the circadian seekers gave me the idea that a player may be able to scan a gate, and see a list of what jumped through etc.

* The concept of creating player owned Npc's in space, perhaps as a transporter you could hire back-up merc's something along that theme until your next docking

so you put this gate up and it lets you choose where you land after you activate it within the same system? If so that sounds pretty cool though i asume you'd need someone/something at the other end to mark where you land in which case you might aswell just warp to a person that's already there. Though if you could set it up to increase the warp speed of ships that could be kind of intresting i suppose, can't really see it wroking though since if it takes any time to set up you're probably better off just warping to the place normally and if it's instantly then it'd undo all the changes in warp speed that ccp did.

a way to find people other than locator agents would be nice

no, that's what other players are for.

1 not really useful unless it blocks other people from warping ontop of you like a normal acc gate and if it does that then no

2 gunna need more info on what you mean just seeing what type of ship used that gate is just going to give you a useless list as a good deal of ships have used that gate since eve started

3 no as stated above that's what players are for

i was under the impression that for the second one you'd do the hacking game (might aswell use it since it's in the game) if you succeed then you get to type the name of the player and it tells you when they last used the gate and if they were entering or leaving the system you're currently in if it just gave a list of ships and when they used it then it'd make it far too easy to find freighters to gank (atleast if it's the name you have to know which freighter pilot you're going to gank first)

So you scan the gate and it shows you a list of pilots and ships that have gone through the gate. you think i meant from the start of eve ? no i meant from say an hour or so, you would use the agent locator to get a general idea then scan gates.

This type acceleration gate does not just jump you in the same system it works by jumping you far distances to the same battle grid from different places in eve. its not a bunker / capture point its a war-zone in a specific place.

I realize the concept of using Npc's challenges the status quo, i do understand it is an mmo, however there are good reasons why it can be included in a sandbox, mainly as power-playing against others using the same control tools / owning space etc and expanding. Npc's already exist in space, what i am saying is why can't players have ways of putting their own npc's in space and use them as a form of pvp against each other for those who enjoy building an army.
