Cant Log on SISI due to lancher update problem

I have tried many times to log on sisi srver following the steps on evlopedia, fitst the launcher starts and shows that it is connectet to singularity server then the uptading bar on the bottom of the launcher shows "downloading eve launcher update" but no progress is made over 15 mins the bar stays grey color and when I close the launcher an error window that says check launcher log file located in "\EVE TEST\launcher\appdata\EVE_Online_Launcher-2.1.826897.win32" the log file last lines were:



ConnectionError: ('Connection aborted.', gaierror(11004, 'getaddrinfo failed'))

that is all I can provide I don't understand why I can update the launcher.

I get this exact error when trying to log into Eve on my windows 7 computer.

It takes over an hour of opening the launcher repeatedly before I can get into the game.

And not SISI either. Regular Eve.

I have uninstalled and redownloaded the whole game twice already but it doesn't change anything.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

Delete SiSi folder.
Copy TQ folder.
Set up the copy to connect to SiSi. (make shortcut. add "/server:Singularity" to target)
Update.

This is my standard procedure if the launcher breaks.

You can try and copy only your TQ launcher into the SiSi folder to overwrite it. It works sometimes and is way faster than the above suggestion.

already tried to recopy TQ folder it didnt work.

as far as i understand it is about proxy might be as well something to do with my IP i really dont get it i pasted the info as well as i could.

Or it might be a corrupted registry i just cant find to fix.

Sometimes my launcher fails to update sisi too no matter how many time I relaunch it to update, but only solution for me so far been using the repair tool (modified like repair.exe --server=sisi) and it successfully updated the game everytime.
