Graphics setting toggles

I like that they're making the graphics better, BUT I play on a lot of low-end computers (see below) and would love it if the devs put in graphics toggles so I could say "shut off any eye candy on maps" and "i don't care about twinkling starfields" and similar.

Now to those that say "just get a better computer": Buy me a better computer. Macbook Pro with all the B&W please: 16GB RAM, maxed SSD, fancy graphics card (this is what's required for EVE -- I can get away with 8GB or less for EVE, but I would like to do other things with this fancy laptop, ne?), etc.

* B&W: bells and whistles. And tanks.

From the Jan 2015 Proteus patch notes:

Quote:
Created "Light Rays" and "Asteroid Environments" options: Display & Graphics options to activate or deactivate crepuscular rays or the new asteroid belt environments in space.

So thank you for listening, @devs!

I think the problem is your graphics card...

I've got one of the latest gens... I still can't get a "High" shader setting toggle.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.
