CONCORD, EXPLOIT?, BUG? PLZ FIX

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I AM HIGH JACKING THIS THREAD WITH A LEGITIMATE CONCERN!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Concord is exploitable, and needs to be restructured to leave grid instantly after eliminating the threat.
It is possible to have Concord on your grid 100% of the time.
USE alt in Rookie ship to attack your ship,
Concord lands on grid kills alt.
Alt docks up.
Concord stays.
Some time
Concord leaves.
Repeat until criminal status > system security.
When that happens you can undock and warp to grid continuously in your FREE Rookie ship. Over and over again. Mining in peace and tranquility. Once you have the "hot" alt, you can move concord around with you wherever you go.
What an alt like this cost? Nothing at all! A Trial account can do this.
100% free protection 100% of the time.
Why is this in the game?
That is literally 1000 times more work than most miners are even capable of understanding, let alone willing to do.
Additionally, using a trial account for that purpose is in fact bannable.
Players use ships to bump freighters out of alignment in order to get enough ahips there to gank it: everything is ok.
Players use rookie ships to spawn CONCORD in belts: unacceptable!
Do you see the contradiction that goes with these statements.
If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.
And how do you want to fix that? You know that other, in your eyes "legit" criminals/pirates do exactly the same.
Just asking that Concord warps off grid after each kill instead of staying on grid for a period of time that can be manipulated to a point where concord is there all the time.
I don't think it is right that you can effectively do this in the game. Just as much as I don't think Gankers should be able to pull concord to an area of space.
Concord Enters
Kills
Leaves
Instead of
Enters
Kills
Hangs out for a while
Leaves.
And it applies to people welping ships in an asteroid field or a safespot on the other side of system.
Both methods are exploits of CONCORD AI.
Okay. I was typing out a much longer reply when I checked back and saw you posted this. So, I'll revise what I was saying.
If that is the extent of what you want, I'd give that a +1. It seems reasonable to me for Concord not to linger after doing their job. That change alone would open up a much richer target environment for gankers and I'm really on board with that.
Ganking could use some small and careful buffs, and this could be one of them. There's one other change I would make, but it would probably warrant a thread all its own and I'm not done figuring out all of the details yet.
Its no bug/exploit or what so ever it´s part of the game and allowed to generate a concord spawn. With and trial account there can be a problem.
Make the same elsewhere and the concord spawn goes away.
Bad game design.
Once upon a time the Golem had a Raven hull and it looked good. Then it transformed into a plataduck. The end.
Concord is "used" far to often.
Currently local NPC militia is worthless.
CCP should rethink the whole idea of NPC militia ships.
From my perspective they should :
- get buff to jamming
- respond to all threads bit faster than currently concord
- chaise criminals around ( sorry if a -9.99999 player jumps using gate A ... militia ships should be able to communicate and have ships waiting there. )
- militia ships should POINT first ( not scramble)
What is the most important :
- militia ships should be destroyable
Concord?
- Concord should patrol only 0.9 and 1.0 systems
- Intervene when there is large scale offense eg: ship is destroyed.
- Ships used to attack are above T1 cruisers
Now why?
To put some "Pirate Lore" in the universe.
Now just concord arrives and thats all people can do.
Of course all this needs more lore , still there are no true pirates in the higsec, just some gangkers, and -10 sec stat players warping away without any trouble.
This is ok, if it went hand in hand with concord not being able to be delayed by prepulling. That never made sense to me.
And what about actual criminals/pirates? They then can also just stay wherever they want and no Concord spawns? Roll
Furthermore, this would make it easier for gankers to gank. They would not need to draw Concord away anymore, they could just wait a bit and it would disappear on its own from the gate/station/spot a gank happened moments ago.
Cant you pull concord away with a noob alt yourself just before you gank?
If manipulation of concord is ok for gankers, its ok for miners.
Partially, Gankers do sometimes pull Concord around to increase the response time. Miners could also pull Concord around to decrease response time. I've seen people do it for ganking, haven't seen any miners do it though --..
Why one would be ok and not the other is beyond me.
So Me and my Merlin gang should be able to kill anything without CONCORD showing up?
Stupidity should be a bannable offense.
sounds good to me if you also change it so that concord respond much faster. think 10 sec for a .5 system and 8 sec for .6 and so on up till almost instant spawns at 1.0. If they are going to leave right away they should also show up right away.
Will I get banned for boxing!?!?!
