HOW ABOUT YOU TELL US MISTER COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE!!!!!

Why even bother to post in this thread? do you guys have an aversion to making declarations or something?
do you guys not ALL know the basic rules?
Why is a specific question so fooking hard for you guys to answer without a petition being sent in?

idk if someone linked this or not but any way

https://sites.google.com/site/khromtor/home - this is the man you so jelly of, and he will troll the **** out of you on that page

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

Would had worded it differently but, yeah.
Looks like he once again just glanced over the topic (which has been beaten to death btw) and placed a copy pasta reply here.

About the beaten to death thing, look it up on the old forums. It's officially approved what he does.

While I don't suport multi boxing he just uses "The Power Of Two" which is advertised by CCP. Except he uses power of (power of (power of (power of (((((...... )))))))).

Defakto it IS "Pay to Win" as he pays 20*~15€ = 300€ /month to not need other players.

But as I used 3 acc once too ... what should I say? I merged my 3 chars to 1 acc now so I'm out of this. But there are MANY, who have at last 2 acc.

The problem is, it is relativ hard to detect, if someone creats several acc and would need some real afford to track it.
- verify real name and data when creating an acc
- compare e-mails if used several times
- track IPs
- compare bank data if used several times
- much more
to cover all posible connections. And some of this actions would clearly be against data protection laws of several countrys (well, except the US, they handle personal data like bitches).

Why the hell can't I fitt capital repairs or shield booster on an Orca ... it's an CAPITAL ship!

In any other game, that is bannable.

Why it's allowed in Eve, I do not know...

Actualy, wiseguy it's not.

Just like IRL you cant sue/arrest the rich guy because he owns 10 porsche boxters and you're jealous/cannot afford the same.

He can afford the equipment (15 computers and screens, if you take a look at his rig)

He's using all legit/CCP OK'd software (Why is it allowed? It can be achieved with no software at all with a crude setup such as this : http://pichaus.com/-keyboard-hack-mmorpg-@29e444e5427174486071410640806f2b/ - notice, all it is is taping the mice/keyboards together so when one mouse moves they all move?)

Eve is not the first MMO or the last that's got "these" kind of gamers

Wonder what happens to that guy when he goes for a drive with broomsticks taped to the steering wheels or remote control software linked to his car.

Except that it really can't be achieved mechanically, otherwise he wouldn't need to use automation software. He was limited to 6 clients with his mechanical setup and the whole thing would break down if a couple of mice tracked a speck of dust and fell behind the other ones. Then you'd have to stop, remove the mouse from the group, try to resync it with the other mice, then insert the mouse back into the bundle. Sounds kind of unfeasible. Guess that's why he uses automation software.

So the software reads the input from the keyboard and mouse, replicates the keystrokes, and reads the input from the mouse and tells the other clients were to click on the screen.

Without OCR or memory injection there's a whole host of things that could be done this way. Guess that's ok too.

As for the jealousy concept, he'd have more luck with that if he posted a pic of him playing eve on something like this :

Only thing I'm jealous of is his eyesight at being able to read the UI on his top monitors.

Keep pounding, If that didn't clue you in on the policy, your probably already so dense that your won't do any damage to your skull.

What he is saying that questions about set ups are between the player and CCP. If you think someone is "Exploiting", you petition them...as per the rules of the game. If you are worried that you might be "Exploiting" but are unsure...petition it and get a ruling from CCP.

You don't whine about it on forums.....there is enough whining on here already.Pirate

I"m not really the Evil One, I'm just his answering service.

The bold / underline part is what we need to know. Assuming his site is correct (Big assumption, I know) he had the following response from CCP:

Quote:
Lastly, multiboxing is allowed, and programs designed for multiboxing in mind which allow a player to manually issue the same command to multiple game clients at the same time are allowed. In the same vein as what has been stated above, the player must be manually sending the commands; if a program is automating those commands for you, then it would be considered a breach of our EULA.

I can't see why it would be against the EULA if you are at the keyboard. It is only when you are not director that things turn sour.

So, he presses one button and 10 clients respond? Or does each client require separate inputs? Because if its one press resulting in 10 actions, that would be a form of automation, even if it is only input duplication. It's the software sending the inputs to the client, not the player.

I'm not saying he's botting. I don't think what he is doing qualifies as that. There are no decisions being made by any software without user input. And I would say that it is outside the perview of CCP to decide how he uses his personal property, so long as he isn't altering the client or some other violation of the EULA.

But damn. 15 monitors? wtf...
