It's a state of mind really. Some are prepared, some never will be. And despite the fact EVE pretty much has a virtual Danger sign hanging over it and has the reputation from hell in other MMOs, people still come here all happy and think it can't be all THAT bad. Oopsies.

Actually, in regards to the OP sentiment (real or not), my bio pretty much is a warning/guide/welcome to EvE

Liked that, what song? Also yes im not trolling just cant belive the amount of tears over something i understand we are supposed to watch out for ourselves. At least i understood there is supposed to be danger anywhere in eve and its on the pilot to be aware.

API Key Setup - it's an id and verification code combination that you can give people so they can see all of the non-personal information about your account without giving them your username and password (which should never be done by anyone ever).

It's a CCP thing and it only gives out in-game information. EVE-uni has a page on it here

Whether its worth anything or not never ever give your API to anyone
