Yea, some dude came in and was normal for first couple months, so I gave him director. The second I saw the wallet journals, I removed director, but as I did that, the corporate vote came in. Is there really anything I can do besides hunt him down and mount his frozen corpse on a wall and evac the remaining members?Ugh

C.

The lesson to be learned here is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS take the corp shares and put them in your personal wallet, which is exactly what your corp thief did.

There is literally nothing you can do in the current situation except pull your corp out of an alliance and erase the corp bulletins. Maybe send a corp mail. As soon as the CEO vote has been done, he will likely kick you out.

Leave corp. Make a new one and invite your members to join, leaving the thief with his ill-gotten gains and empty corp.

Some genius left 50k shares in the wallet, I had 45 k. And my other trustworthy directors all hard around 10k, but they were either A. On Vacation B. Asleep C. Had their house hit by lightning.

I'll never understand why you'd do something like that...

Giving random guys director access to your corp... Shocked

EDIT: "house hit by lightning" is one of the best excuses I've ever heard for not being online. ^^
Reminds me of that guy I was playing with, we were on TS when he suddenly, calm as calm can be stated "Cool, some lighting just struck my backyard... Oh look, the ground is burning, I think I'll be offline for a little while now..." Lol

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

Have been tired of all the drama. Sold 14 bil of my assets and am moving into nullsec going solo. I do not want to be responsible for a bunch of noobs and and a fleet full of lokis, only I am in the Eos.

Just stick to NPC corps. Not only can you do nearly everything you can do in a player corp, but it awoxers hate it. It makes them foam at the mouth and complain about NPC corps to no end, so it has to be good. The other thing you can do is set up temporary a corp, bait people into declaring war on you then disband it and send them a trollolol mail.

General rule of thumb

give no one the ability to effect your corporation in a negative way unless you live within walking distance of their house, have a plan for the disposal of their corpse, and youve made those facts very clear to them beforehand

the only exception to this is if your in an alliance that is so large that its practically a glacier, no single event will stop you from chugging along, thats the only time your safe giving people you cant harm physically director roles

Ask yourself why he hasn't followed his own advice before you do.

This is never likely to be the opening line to a happy story, unless it ends with the lines "and they will never find his body".

I do precisely that on my alts. I like variety, so I choose to keep my main in null. EVE is far too boring to only do one thing at a time.

The CEO of one of the corps I am involved with did in fact have his house destroyed by a tornado. But he managed to keep his corp going.

Simply adorable.

I hear this line ALOT from highsec corps who get this treatment... guess how many actually do it? None.

Chances are youll **** and moan for a week, maybe start some other threads about the subject, and then about 40% of your members will follow you to a new corp, where youll enjoy wardec after wardec, and maybe a safari or two, and we will be right back where we started here on the forums, probably in C&P where youre prooflessly calling someone a corp thief and trying desperately to hire mercs to 'go get him' because you simply cant be arsed to get off your nullsec main to deal with your highsec alt corps problems. Que 'The circle of life' , forget about it all and move on.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Its always opposite for me. I give someone director and they usually vanish, as in stop playing, a week later. If I make you director of security... you never come back.

But as said, make new corp, invite old members, (you can use evewho.com to see a join and part list) take all the shares as soon as you make new corp, and start over.

Seriously CCP, shares either need to be removed or completely redone to be useful. They are the most pointless feature in eve.
