Leaving EVE and donating an Obelisk

Donate it via option 2 or you'll end up donating it to someone's killboard. So deny them the stats on your way out.

This is the best suggestion you'll get. No corp that is just starting out/caters to the new and the irl focused player is going to turn down the help of a part time freighter pilot.

If you have played EVE off and on since '07 you know why and you know the itch will come to return.

Don't sell it, don't give it away. Leave with it in your inventory. It's worth 1.3 B now, it could be worth 2 or 3 if you decide to come back, it could be worth 800 mill. When I leave (again) like I have many times, I don't burn bridges, I try not to lave in hate or disgust. I just go and find something else to play.

It is at the point of leaving you really need to remind yourself, it's just a game. Look at it this way. If EVE was a single player game, would you feel some driven need to smash the disk or just stuff it in a slot with the rest of the games you don't play any more?

There is a third option always

The obe is a terrible ship to fly ergo it will make you hate eve and you wont come back...help a noob pilot out who is in love with Obelisk and cant help Themselves

Honestly do not believe in charity but you know social protocols and all that

buddy give it away or the temptation will eat at you mind "ill play for a month" ect ect

I give peeps ships all the time and have given a person an obelisk specifically and they lost it...painful at the time but it made them a far better player and in the end its pixels
