how would it be if CCP changed the mechanic around orca's and hulks for 0.8 to 1.0 systems and ownership aswell?

From what i have witnessed ORCA and HULK pilots tend to hide in NPC corporations and mine all the ore away in *higher sec zones 1.0 to 0.8 and low skilled players are forced to go to 0.7 , 0.6 and O.5 systems where they are easy cannon fodder for gankers.
I believe orca and hulks should only be allowed for players in REAL players corporations so at least if they mass grind the ore in low skilled player zones they can become legit war dec targets.
I believe since they can't think of themself that they dont belong there and mining all ore away from lower skilled players then mechanics should be changed.
Many miners are egoistic people they have no code of honor towards other miners.
they complain alot about ganks but yet they refuse to fit descent tanks or refuse to protect themselfs. if you have the skill points why would you FFS mine the ore away from low SP players who are forced to mine in easy gank zones.

You should be able to own a ORCA or hulks, but only be able to fly them if you are in a real player corporation.

I hate to see a little venture pilot or retriever pilot mine a rock and then suddenly a fleet pops up, Orca couple hulks in *high sec zones 0.8 and 1.0 and mines the poor little venture/retriever his ore away, and they all are in NPC corporations.
And next the venture and low SP retriever needs to drop down in les secure zones and get ganked.
I believe you should be able to war dec griefer miners, they grief low skilled players in that way by forcing them into les secure zones with no SP or protection. and there for i believe some toy's should only be available in real players corps.

if high SP players can't make that up for themselfs while they have tools to protect themselfs, then maby mechanics should change. These are reasons we cant have nice things in games.

and i believe the system of corporations need to change aswell for example if you are 2 months in the game you will be either transfered to a NPC corporation wich players can war dec and also would able to use orca and hulks in those kinda NPC corporations or they make there own corporation. i dont like players who only take and take from the system and never give something.

*high sec zones 0.8 to 1.0 is what i mean fast concord intervention.

We believe players should be killed (not griefed) by the meaning and the heart of the game. Not becouse you dont like the way they play. Please dont act like old people who can't stand anything in their neighbourhood. Play eve for the game!

So, you want to change it so that other players can't mine in the highest security systems just so that you have access to the ore there?

Just because you do not have a Hulk or an Orca, does not mean that you cannot simply join a corporation with other players that will help you with these tools. If you do not want to join one of these corporations, have you considered paying someone to join their orca boosted fleet?

There are plenty of the highest security systems that will still have plenty of rocks left in belts as well, maybe the issue is that you need to change which systems you're mining in?

Please think of some alternative ways that you can accomplish your goal without trying to change the games mechanics to fit what you think the game should be.

There is no need for the proposed changes, if you really want it to be considered, it should be posted in F&I.

Here is a simple solution:
Run/Decline security missions until you get one with ore. Don't pop the completion triggers and you can mine to your hearts content without anyone bothering you (assuming they don't scan you down) in the same site for up to a week, each day after down time the asteroids will come back. The ore available is endless, if one mission is not enough, just go to other agents until you have more than you can mine in a day.

if someone wants to gank you in high sec it won't matter if you're in 1.0 or 0.5

When I first started playing and was mostly mining I saw plenty of belts being eaten before I could get to it but I had no real trouble finding one to use.

There are lots of belts and lot of systems are sick with them. There are also the anomalies that pop up which usually have better ore. I was so excited to find the first one because I did not know they existed!

I had no trouble watching the fleets with Orcas show up. It gave me something to aspire to. I have not mined much in a while but before I stopped I had three miners and one Orca driver because that's what I saw others do.

I can't speak for others but I always tried to mine rocks that no one else was mining. It seemed rude to me to do anything else. That tends to change in belts/anoms when they are near the end but starting out I mostly see miners being civil about it.

Another option: Combat anoms like versions of Refuges have veldspar, scordite and pyrox. I also know that the Lookout signatures has Hemorphite and Jaspet in them. I have cleared refuges using a mining barge so it's not out of the question to use these sites. For the Lookout you could clear the first room and come back with a mining ship. It varies by race which ones allow medium sized ships so your results may vary.

0.5 to 1.0 is all high sec, it's really not scary at all.

If brute force isn't working, you're just not using enough.

Please Note: Any advice given comes with the caveat that nothing will be suitable for every situation.

I let and invite anyone join my Orca fleet, especially newbies in highsec, There is plenty of ore to go around.
