If it is a game mechanic, why not let players discuss it unless CCP doesn't want to listen to players?

Again, as the first post says. Does CCP want people to play their game or CONTINUE to unsub/log out/go play something else.

It is hard to respond to that without knowing who or where you are, however, having a stab in the dark, I would say that Cobalt Edge has 20 systems with ice belts. If the cloaky follow you - a good old gate camp will surprise him.

Cloaky camping isn't the problem. The problem is the mass of null bears too risk averse to do anything but run and hide the second local shows an extra person, 15+ people in local and all are to scared of one person they log off or sit and wait until they can pull overwhelming numbers or the cloaky person leaves.

Honestly if the person was actually 'afk' cloaky. Why are you scared? by your own words that person is afk and no threat to you at all.

IMHO, this is no different than a Special Ops group (for any country) hiding in hostile territory to call in an Air Strike or Artillery bombardment on a site. The only difference is this has a futuristic twist.

IMHO the feature is working fine, the only suggestion I could say is open op up the de-cloaking sig from the present to 10 km.

You are correct I don't know who you are - that was not the point. The point was most regions have a significant number of ice systems. If you are in etherium reach or period basis your moving options are limited but in most regions my original argument is still valid.

Most of the issue with cloaky camping comes down not to the power of the cloaked camper, but to the paranoia and imagination of those being camped. What's the worst that happens? You lose a ship.

Get over the fear of loss and just go play the game.
