Be careful. You might also catch a ban if you are just in a fleet or a chat channel with someone who asks for a singing ransom.

F12 is your best bet but I don't hold out much hope for you getting a clear answer.

This hearkens back to an incident in which an individual was deemed to have been mentally tortured by an unscrupulous sociopath (redundancy?) Part of the torture session, captured and later rebroadcast, involved having the poor victim sing. So, it seems, apocrypha (urban myth) now has it "singing will get you banned."

It wasn't really the singing, even though that was part of the activity. It was the torture. From my experience, asking someone to sing to you could be inviting torture upon yourself. SO...would CCP intervene for your own good if you're going around doing this to yourself? I somehow think not, but am ready for any surprise. However, don't expect much from Simon Cowell in this regard.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

There is.
It's allowed.[citation needed]

I'm curious to see your reference for this. Smile

Even devs did it.

Since when does "devs did it" correlate with us being allowed? I was never allowed to teleport, and devs have done that!

If this is against the EULA I will eat my Tempest. I have a special song prepared should I ever get ransomed like that. I'm planning to sing Slayer's The Angel Of Death including the ear-shattering opening.

I don't care about clueless people asking for citations.
Devs were on the singing end of ransoms.
No harm is done by a singing ransom.
People did it often already and no one ever complained.
No one got banned either.
(Inb4 fake complaint)

Common sense.

No citation in the world can help you people.
No EULA wording can help you people.
How you manage to stay alive is beyond me.

This thread should be locked.

The OP has been answered multiple times
and as well got pointed at writing a petition.

There is enough material for him presented in this thread,
which he can use as a base for pointless, unnecessary arguments.

Duder I know tried this and gave his comms info to the wrong guy.
I'll have you know it took a few hours to fix those comms ...

Question asked, correct answers given, thread locked.

In other words, under normal circumstances it's allowed, but when in doubt, file a support ticket.
