Killboards dont record all the kills though. Maybe shes had 1000 kills, but they dont show up.

It is a mystery.

CONCORD is overpowered. Every time I gank someone in highsec, I lose my ship even if I succeed. :(

EDIT: Additionally the "victim" gets a 30 day killright on me that they can sell or give away at any time.

I dont plex my account. I pay for it. I did the math a long time ago that even if I made 150 mil isk per hour, thats the equivalent of about 1.25 USD per hour. I make far more doing what I do in RL. So it makes no sense for me to spend my hours doing some stupid isk farming when its so much cheaper to pay for it.

As far as PVP, II was referring to my skills, not being able to play full time like some has nothing to do with it. Spent a lot of time in 0.0 but didnt get to do much due to my work, the account was paid for 2 years in advance. This char was intended for PVP when made. Can fly all sub cap ships L5 and all guns and missiles L5. Only have about 350 mil isk in bank - if i really wanted ISK i could buy it with cash. Tried mining which generated the above post more out of curiosity than actual need.

I hope that answers all o y'all's stupid assumptions.

Also now doing that math on that orca kill i saw, seeing the fit, im not surprised it died. Probably had about as low EHP as you can get on the orca. Like some guy above posted...the orca i saw die, probably had around 80k EHP, if that.

They didnt call out a missinformed opinion. There is not one single constructive comment there. maybe the one about the EHP on the orca. But all you dumbasses chose to troll and act like the cretins you actually are.

Several constructive comments would have been:

1. Too low EHP on the orca maybe? - actually made by one person
2. Why did the miner not switch out with a ship from the orca ship hangar and kill the dstroyers before they killed the orca?
3. Was number 2 not done because he was AFK? If thats the case, then he got what he deserved?

The only butthurt was just received by the trollers.

Losing the miner profession would be a bad business decision for CCP. I think they would lose 25% of their playerbase. You are deadling with a very different mentalities of players. The PVP, 0.0 type who like to fight, and the ones that dont. Forcing the second to mix with the first would be like putting the minimum speed limit on the TOLL road - 100 mph.

For some its fun to see the minerals accumulate and the paint dry...as you put it. For quite a few actually.

High sec has its well defined purpose and I dont think its going to go away or neutered by CCP just because hardcore PVP'ers or whatever, think its pansy.

When making such a decision to remove mins or belts you have to take a very broad view of things. What you and I may find boring, may be an essential part of EVE, who others dont find boring. The minerals marke is the economic driver of EVE.

What is stopping said miners from having a couple of guardians providing reps over those 15 seconds, and/or a few defense ships to blap the -10 sec-status gankers as soon as they land? Was the miner watching local and aligning out as soon as the -10 toons entered local? etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc....

Oh yeah, carebears would have to a) work together (instead of fap while AFK mining solo) and b) put brain in gear.

But PVP is more than just having the skills to fly ships, or the ships themselves. Its also why a 2 month old alt of a 3 year old veteran, can utterly stomp and decimate a new player who bought a 3 year old character in a faction battleship on the character Bazaar. PVP is just as much experience, as it is the skills to fly a good ship, which is something you seem to lack. And if you lack those skills, then youre not really a pure PVPer, because youre indistinguishable from a pure PVEer.

BTW, if youre ever up for some fun PVP, call me up. Im sure there are some things i can teach you about it.

I didnt buy the character. Ive always owned it. Im fully aware that having the skills in game is not the same as knowing what to do with them. Ive trined this char so that I can pvp with it when I have the time. I do not compare myself in personal skill to half decent pvp'ers, never did. The skills I mentioned are the skill sheet, nothing else.

I never said you did buy the character, but without the skills and knowledge, experience, youre not really a pure pvper in any meaningful sense. And thats fine, everyone starts somewhere, which is why i invited you to join me in some pvp fleets some time, could be fun. :)
