On a related note: Why is there no drooling smiley available when people are allowed to mention Helios BPOs on the forums? Didn't even know what my salivary glands were capable of until now. Harvesting that stuff and selling it as tears would be quite the business idea.

Yeh, good luck with whatever you'll be up to. Sometimes you just need a break, but also sometimes, you just know that it's time to let go and move on. It might be that you've reached that time, and if not, think of the challenges that'll wait if you ever decide to return.

Sounds like the best way to go out. I've only been playing EVE for a couple years now and can only hope to eventually win at EVE so I can go out the same way if I ever choose to leave it for good. Good luck to you in whatever it is you will be doing once you leave EVE. Fly dangerous and my your final explosion be as big and beautiful as you hope it to be.

If you truly want to go out with a BANG. Buy an expensive ship. Sit 30-70k off station. Advertise in local on how you going to eject from it and the first person to board keeps it. Once a good number of pods stack up, fire off some smart bombs!

Seriously though, I'd suggest keeping a fair amount of stuff. You never know when you might want to come back. Returning to this game flat broke kind of sucks.

Gl in whatever you do though.

Please make it the 8th as that's my birthday and must surely increase my odds of picking up something and surviving the event . Smile

My EVE adventure is just starting , but I can understand that someone may feel it's time to move on eventually . Hope you will retain some great memories of your time here .

Quite a bang indeed, I like the idea. I don't know how I would do it if I ever wanted to quit, but I can see the appeal - getting rid of everything can be a good deterrent against reactivating later if you do not have anything to go back to. And this way the community gets a bit back... If I am able, I'll come watch and say goodbye.

Regardless of the result, good luck in your ventures. I'm sure someone will miss you ingame after the time you spent playing. At least that's what I would like to think if I was to quit myself too.
