Any Article Suggestions for Learning?

I've been playing EVE for a while (a few months) and I know for a fact that I should know more than I actually do. I have concluded that I have not read nearly enough and my lack of knowledge is the repercussion as well as losing too many ships for no good reason. So I just want to know if any of you have article suggestions whether they be for beginners or for something a little more complex and in depth.

I am currently reading: A Beginners Guide to EVE Online
https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/A_Beginner's_Guide_to_EVE_Online

And plan to read
"Confessions of a Stealth Bomber Killer" and
"Torpedo Delivery: The stealth bomber handbook for enterprising pilots" by Chance Ravinne aka Wingspan TT
since I feel I would enjoy flying in wormhole space with a Manticore as my main goal.

If you guys have an article/video/other suggestions for me to take a look at I would be eternally grateful for the knowledge

Look up Johnny Pew's videos on youtube.

I spent the first couple of months of my subscription reading almost everything about EvE I could find and annoying people in the help channels with questions. Blink

You can always check out the various guides listed on the Eve Uni wiki:

http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Category:Guides

Not all pages that are guides there may be tagged as guides but if you use the search function on the wiki you can find pretty much anything you're after.

Magnasis has some nice blog style footage from when he was a young pilot, can learn from his mistakes and insights.

WingspanTT if u want some comedy along with explosions

Seamus O'Donahue made all the videos for eve UNI tutorials.

Pff...

Just ask questions, be it in game or through the forums.

No reading will fully make you learn stuff...the best way to learn, is jsut to go out there and try.

p.s. I do really hope you will have backup when you get your bomber into a WH...Else, it's a loss waiting to happen.

Pretty much this.
Then if you still don't get it find some guide/video/whatever on a specific topic.
Me - I love good guides and tutorials, but I always try myself first. Killboards are good places to find decent (and hilarious tbh) fits for various ships.

My CEO's blog, he sometimes uses it as his personal soapbox (please don't hit me) but it's got some solid stuff in there,
he updates it as well.

OP you may find the public section of Goonswarms wiki handy, while some of it is specific to them there's a boatload of useful information there that can be applied to Eve in general. Though TBH the best way to learn is by doing; every time you explode at the hands of another player, ask them for advice on fits and tactics, most will be happy to help you out.

Take a look at this guy's killboard. He is the master of stealth bombers in WH space. Note the type of targets he engages and his fits (if you can even find a loss).

Stealth Bombers in WH space can be very fun if you like scanning and stalking. It's a unique environment that lets you go full "SUPRISE MOTHERTRUCKER" like nowhere else in EVE.

Reading is good, however, IMO there is no substitute for interacting with more experienced players. It is the fastest way to learn the important bits of whatever you decide to do, as you can get feedback in real time and avoid embarrassing losses before they happen by asking "dumb" questions. Consider joining a wormhole corp, or one that is fine with you spending time diving in them. I think you'll find it's more efficient and more fun to have people to hang out and chat with, even if you are flying solo.

Instead of reading: FW with a SB is good for learning tactics on avoiding other players - then planning precise kills when blitzing missions.

You would want to skill your torpedoes to range of 74km, along with support skills that help with fitting the ship in general.

Prior to flying the bomber, FW in a kestrel can be good practice - maybe fit it with a tracking disruptor.

You can never have enough practice when it comes to basic mechanics.
