Some time ago I decided to leave EVE for good too. At least I thought that I wasn't going to resub for this terrible™ game.

Today I'm thanking myself that I didn't at least blow up some of my bearing assets ensuring relatively quick return to the game.

EVE burnout is real, however, and I know that sometimes I felt regret for the time I've spent on it, but I'm back again regardless.

Good luck with whatever you are going to do IRL. Hope it's gonna be fun :)

The game is easy enough, sometimes starting over isn't a bad thing. No old ties, no old enemies, no old friends all fresh.

i have quit and come back numurouse times and regret coming back. i wish you all the happiness in future have fun with the real game called life :D

I've been thinking the same, in the past. Wack all belongings in a freighter or 2 and go *KaBoem* near Amarr.

Then again I find it hard to part with 6-8 years of accumilated stuff. Oops



OP, keep your stuff and take a long, long break. One day you want to take a peak at EVE in its then current form and before you know it you'll be hooked as you where before.


Heck, maybe CCP then even has added back the dark opaque theme. P

This sounds fun!

I always thought I'd go out with a big loot-splosion too, if I ever managed to quit EVE.

But I've never felt like quitting altogether - maybe little breaks here and there sure, but leaving and never coming back? Can't do it.

Well, I don't know you, but if you really want to get rid fo all your stuff (not something I advise, but... it's your stuff), may you consider the following? Mike Azariah is holding a pro-newbros initiative, "Magic School Bus". He may use anything T1 you have -modules, ammo, frigs, dessies, whatever. Surely he can also use some friendly freighting of stuff.

He is also looking for T1 fits for characters 1-2 weeks old, specially destroyer fits.

I didn't really burn out on Eve...more like faded away. I had so much fun while I was active, but that changed a long time ago. I have only been logging in the past two to three years to do T2 production that I used to pay for two accounts.

T2 BPO's are not the best in the game, but they are decent. Helios, Null M, and 425mm Railgun II. Made me some nice income over the years. Was glorious when I got them. I hope they survive the destruction for someone to use!

I will be undocking from Vittenyn V1 - Moon 13 - Federation Navy Assembly Plant.
Time TBA....but I expect sometime between the 8th and 10th of January.

Well, I just started so I don't have much to say other than enjoy life outside of EVE. May all the memories you have accumulated serve you well into the future, and if they are holding you down, let them free to fade away.

It's always a bit sad to see someone leaving, especially with a full nine years under their belt, but I suppose if anyone deserves a good send-off, it's said same long-term vets.

Good luck to you. But I left the game for my reasons almost 2 years ago and two weeks ago I resub'd. Hardest thing is trying to make isk again with nothing.
