See CCP, here is this thread again. It really is an old topic.

You see, the topic isn't bumping or ganking, it's 'CCP WHY WON'T YOU PROTECT ME FROM OTHERS!??!'. You (ccp) buffed mining ships. The whines about ganking only got worse. You gave freighters fitting options for the 1st time, they still got worse. You made FREAKING ANCHOR RIGS as a counter against bumping and STILL this thread exists.

It doesn't matter what you do for them, because they don't want 'tool's to fix their own problems. They are utterly dependent on others for their well being in any situation, so the development time you spent giving these types more tools was utterly wasted. Nothing beyond 100% safety (while still allowing THEM to affect other people) is the only thing that will even halfway satisfy people like this.

Offered humbly to CCP so they can stop wating their time and all of our money on hopeless video game leeches.

No no no.. there clearly needs to be more CONCORD involvement, maybe a new midslot module that uses 1pg 1 cpu that makes your barge unbumpable, a unicorn hood ornament, several small people representing the lollypop guild, random house droppings on witches, lions without chutzpah, blonde scarecrows, minmatar woodsmen, The riddler in a top hat, a small dog that likes the rain down in Africa, and a girl with a concussion. Googling "CCP Bumping" gives you this official CCP response on bumping.

In short: bumping is a valid mechanic like any other. If you believe that someone is harassing you with any mechanic, including bumping, please file a support ticket.

I suggest asking a friend to help. Solo-ing in Eve is very hard, no matter what you do. There are multiple other counters to bumping, some of which have been pointed out in this thread so far.
