Hey folks,

On the Proteus release page, if I'm not mistaken, we are shown some "drones" (?) building (or stripping) an Amarr station ?
Does anything like that exist in the game currently ?

Could also just be drones repping which they can do.

All I can see are mechanical arms moving along a rail putting boxes from point A to point B.

Where are these drones you're talking about? Can you screenshot them?

Think it's a preview of the station/outpost upgrade they promised (the one we would see more panels, advertisements and general busyness, to make them seem more "alive"). Looks cool

Well I called them "drones" for lack of a better term :)
But they do seem attached to some rails so it could just be some mechanical arms indeed.

That's correct; they're moving arms and boxes that have always been on the station model afaik. :)

I can't see the page properly due to being on my phone. But what you are describing sounds like the player made Amarrian station. Player made stations have different models, and iirc the Amarrian Outpost is a really good production outpost. The little mechanical arms going back and forth are just there to help move cargo around. Like with shipping yards that load and unload ocean cargo ships.

Good. Cos I was watching for like 3 minutes, waiting, but not seeing them. I got all worried about my lack of visuals and graphics :)

I havent paid close attention to stations for a while, but I think Wacktopia is right and they're present on the current Amarr player owned outposts.

To my knowledge, that is the "preview" stand-in image on release pages before the actual image for the release image is put up. I believe there was even a dev post about it, but I can't find it.

Which means there should probably be a Bacon Faction Templar skin available either in the loyalty point system or in the NeX store.

You know, the Mystery Code with the CE says you get some neato faction skin for the Templar for Valkyrie..

CCP, Templar Bacon Edition. Make it happen. Lazors and Bacon.. what a combination!

Could at least have linked to it!

Can't find it.

People said that's an outpost, iirc,
and the moving parts are actually ingame.

Correct, it's an Amarr Factory Outpost in nullsec, and the moving bits are actually part of it (and have been as long as I can remember).
