Pretty much this.

Of course, some people just have to try :)

OP could check out the Making ISK guide for some ideas.

first, get out of high sec, even if you are running missions you get better isk in null sec, but you need to be carefull and scout a lot, train Clones, and set your homestation then, get familiar with the people you see around, they will eventually get used to you and ignore you...

dont be afraid of this https://zkillboard.com/character/95205879/

new mechanics make it viable to undock with pod or rookie ship to scout if someone is camping in the area. once you get the intel, you can trace a safe path.

Did you really just recommend undocking in a pod in nullsec to go scouting?

this is a common mistake that I think a lot of new players make. If you go about the game from this perspective I doubt that you will be playing long. The game will turn into a job and you'll be playing endless hours trying to earn the isk and if you have one unexpected loss you'll rage quit.

At the end of the trial you just are not going to be able to make the isk to pay for the game. Someone who has been playing the game for years could start a new toon on a trial account and do it but while in theory it might be possible you just won't do it at least not without playing the entire month just to pay for the PLEX.

I strongly recoment you get this idea out of your head for now and just play the game and when you are comfortable with game to be able to pay for game time with PLEX you won't be on the forums asking other's how to do it.

However it is your game and you play it how you want.

If you've got $$ to spare, buy PLEX and sell and don't worry about making ISK.

If you don't mind being a **** (and being known as a ****) then you can scam. People do fall for that stuff, surprisingly.

If you don't mind micromanaging your market orders then station trading can make you silly amounts of ISK with a bit of investment.

I've found PI to be an excellent passive source of income. Spend ~1 month training each of your 3 characters and you can easily pull well over 1 billion per month in low-sec.

Fastest way is to buy a PLEX with cash and sell it on the in-game market. There you go.

if u make more money irl than you do ingame per hour then just buy or subscribe.

Don't do that, I tried to play that way once, I ended up quitting after it quickly turned into a job.

I'm happy enough paying 15$ for a sub while all the ISK I make is for my ''blow some ****'' fix.

Of course, I can PLEX an account if I make the effort, but I work enough for the day already, I need not work even more at night, losing precious internet lazer time.

OP, I would suggest doing the following

Pay for 3 months subs from the EVE store.

Then, once you have trained the required skills for perhaps a dominix with T2 sentry drones, go out and join a big renter alliance and farm their ded sites and complexes.

Also, train up your PI skills and start getting some passive income from it.

This will not only allow you some time to learn the game, but give you an income stream very capable of paying for your account via plex.

HOWEVER, this 'grinding' can be boring. Shooting red crosses endlessly is dull and you will burn out quickly. Hopefully by the time that starts coming you will realise there is so much more to do in eve than just pve, and you will see paying for your account gives you a different mindset..

Then leave your renter alliance, get together with some friends and try to take sov for yourself :)

First thing is to jump into the change room and put on something a little more skimpy. Then redo your make-up. Something like the latest tween music stars are wearing. Also fix your hair. Blonde for sure and maybe the pageboy. Turn your body sideways to the camera, lower your chin and look slightly off to the side. And big pupils.

Don't forget to light your portrait to show you off to best advantage. A soft glow is much better than harsh shadows. As well, a semi close up is better than a full body shot.

Check out OOPE for some examples.

The next bit is a little tricky. You need to hang out in Todaki and beg in local and/or corp chat without seeming like you are begging. You want to seem young, flirty and kind of dumb. But not stupid.

You'd be surprised what a little roleplay can do for your wallet in a short period of time.

Step 1 - Train into the Venture (a dirt cheap ship that is designed for mining, but can be fit for combat)
Step 2 - Join a mining corporation
Step 3 - Go on a corporation mining op. With your Venture, warp scramble the fleet's Orca, shoot its drones, and demand a ransom. Honor any ransom paid.

This will get you a couple hundred million ISK. Now, go back to step 2 and repeat.

Best of all, because you honored the ransoms, you do not have any 'paper trail' of 'dishonorable kills'.

I think it's a fair question for the OP to ask because I remember when I first started playing that a lot of the marketing hype about the game was that you could earn in-game currency to pay for your sub and I think that's what attracts a lot of new players.

Of course it's all marketing and easier said than done when you first start out.

Stick with it though OP. The game will draw you in and then you'll be happy to pay for your first few months. Big smile

Pretty much this. You would need to be exceptional at station trading or scamming/begging to have a hope at PLEXing before your 3rd or 4th month.

Long term, running PI on your free alts will get you at least half a PLEX a month in losec more like a PLEX in null or a WH.

Level IV missions will get the other half PLEX with 5 to 10 hours play depending on current PLEX price, skills and ship (incursions running could feasibly get half a PLEX in 3 or 4 hours).

Scamming is *the* best way to get your first 200m ISK, if you include deceiving people into trusting you then ransoming them as scamming.

Trading is then the best way to turn that into a PLEX. Trading, while also repeating the scamming while you wait for your orders to fill.

Selling your body is a time-proven way of earning money, some even speculate it is the world´s oldest profession.

Anyway, I will pay 1 Million ISK for your Corpse.

There are prostitutes in eve....... Unless they were removed. At one point I thought it was kind of sad you can sell all "humans" except Marines.
