Launcher doesn't actually Launch...

So I recently upgraded to a new machine, and I've been re-installing my games to get back to the serious business of not doing work.

Everything has installed fine so far, except EVE. The launcher appears to be fine, and it's giving me the "Client is Ready" report, however clicking play moves the button to "Launching..." but nothing actually opens.

Task manager shows the exefile.exe running, but after about 30 seconds the launcher button returns to "Play".

Anyone have any suggestions? I've run the repair tool, and tried running the executable directly (as administrator as well) but the game simply doesn't launch.
