Rigs that adds module slot?

I don't know how this would be accepted. Example: This rig would add an extra med slot to your Thrasher at the expense of signature radius.

-1 due to the fact it'd turn ALL rigs into worthless items. If you applied a rig that gave you an extra high slot, you could, for instance, apply a shield extender that yields more shield HP than any currently existing shield rig.

Only if you can manage the power to add that shield extender. I think new rigs would make some of the old obsoloete but not in all cases. Thank you.

Not a bad idea. Not saying I support it, but I applaud the outside-of-the-box thinking. CCP has stated that in the past that they thought about letting ships have modifiable slots or hard points. Obviously that came to fruition in the form of T3, but the idea is far older. The problem is it makes changes that are very hard to balance. T3 isolates and controls the ability.
