IIRC POS dont react to individual standings, its to corp only.

I set it up, am still in the same corp, and ive added myself as a 10,0 corporation contact.

In the defenses tab ive set it to "attack if standing lower than 9.0"

Why does it still attack me and anyone else I set as a +10.0 corporation contact???
Please help

It would appear that your POS has taken a mild dislike to your spacecraft.

Try approaching it with something other than an Imicus.

Where is your POS located? We'll dispatch a repair team that I guarantee will stop your POS from shooting you.

I recently had issues with a POS and this is a partial quote from a GM:

Quote:
It is generally advised to not perform any combat around a POS if you can help it.
They can be quite finicky and the slightest thing can set them off.

Most likely because something extremely sinister is going on. I believe that the people who manage our clones have conducted a hard consciousness-line reset.

This means that If you have died. You are not the real you anymore. But a copy. You will be completly unable to notice this. From your point of view you are completly the same. In reality what you are experiencing now is not your old consciousness. Your old consciousness stopped existing the moment the old clone was destroyed. He is dead. Gone forever. You are the new "You" now. This may be hard to grasp.

We should figure out why they have done this.

yea well i may be a noob but if you could actually give me some advice that would be great

Is this POS in James 315 space (sometimes called hi-sec.)?

If so, it's obvious you didn't ask his permission and the POS knows you don't have a permit.

First, a POS only cares about corp-to-corp standing. Corp-to-individual standing is ignored.

Second, the easiest way to get a POS to attack the wrong people, is to enable Attack on Aggression. It should never be used [the few cases where it is needed, one has to accept the consequences].

Third, alliance standings will override if you check Use Alliance Standing [this option only appears when in an alliance].

Lastly, POS can hold a grudge until downtime.

POS discussion is really a topic for Science & Industry forum.

EDIT: Attack if below 0.1 and Attack if at war are generally all that are needed.
