Bit bland perhaps, but beard and haircut work, 7/10?

The lighting works well to bring out your characters features. The head piece adds nicely to the clean cut look and the background, unintuitively, manages to add to the lighting effect. the eye tattoos are a nice touch.
Bonus points for making a dark avatar picture work so well

The lighting isn't doing your hair any favors. You could be a little more creative with the background... that outfit is hideous, to be honest.

I like the dark brown theme- the colors match well- but the lighting could be adjusted.
Also, nice jacketBlink

Portrait is a bit dark and some of the detail is lost in the smaller version, but the lighting works enough in larger versions. Will say 8/10, +1 for being a Brutor and yet not use silly piercings nor tattoos that's 9/10.

I like the new look , lighting works well with the background, and the colour of the dress works with the colour of the background as well; but you need to (in my opinion) have your eyes looking straight at the viewer instead of down.
[edit] the tilt of the head is a nice touch

7/10 (the eyes would have made it an 8)

The background and shirt complement each-other quite well with the lighting bringing the eyes focus to the face. The laser eye-patch thingy and the tattoo make it look like a real eye-patch Pirate which i quite like.

Your character doesn't look half bad when smiling, I wish CCP would fix that as my character looks a little creepy when i try to make him smile X

With a closer look at a bigger image I notice that there is a lot going on in the upper left corner of your face Shocked
A tattoo, laser eye-patch thingy, eyebrow piercing, earring and a scar!

It's a little too much for me, sometimes less is more.

Otherwise it's a solid 9/10 from me Smile

And hooray for my first post! \o/ It's time to move on to endgame content.. spacebook posting Lol

Just really quite nice. Have a real look of innocence about you. Which I somehow doubt is totally accurate. 9/10

I don't know what to say about yours.

Which is really odd, so totally worth commenting.

7/10, the piercings don't look that good nor the overexposed (as in too much light) pale skin but pose, hair and outfit work.

I like this portrait (but I pretty much like most, so not a great critique).

Anyway, the contrast of the skin tone with the hair draws focus and the large version of the portrait looks really good. The lighting highlighting the cheek bone structure works too.

You look young. Mid twenties at latest.
Ready for action and kind of curious about an upcoming interrogation.

I know you can do far better, though.

Sol Project:

The good:

-I like it when people stick to the general theme of their avatars and keep them recognizable. Even though you have changed quite a lot, it is still Sol. (I really appreciate this, I always found it hard to keep my avatar recognizable)

- You changed the blush and lightnings, so he no longer looks like he was suffering from a serious space-sunburn. +1 for skin cancer awareness.

- I love extreme closeups, especially if the character is supposed to look intimidating.

The bad:

Those forehead spikes don't work. I never really realized this before, but upon closer look, they seem to be not attached to your body at all, but hovering half an inch (= 1,270 cm) before your face.
If you really want to keep them, I'd experiment a little more with light and shadows, maybe you will find a combination where they look more realistic. Or let go of them completely- the picture is good enough as it is already, would be a shame to change everything just for a few stupid forehead piercings.

overall 9/10.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.
