Changes to Aggression Mechanics? Concord decided to interfere despide Can-Flipping

Hi,

Yesterday I tried to web my alt into Warp. Since they are not in the same Corp / Alli I picked up two ibises and they meet at Planet 1:

A dropt a Can, B took the Trit and troped it again. A took it.
A shoot at B and Concord killed A oO.
Can somebody tell me what I made wrong?

(no, they werent in the same fleet and no they werent in the same fleet for more than two days)

This is a "small" glitch that has been happening recently. Wait a bit to see if the aggro rights kick in and/or can flip again.

How did you Veterans start?

Thank you for your replay. At least I didn't made any wrong.

BTW: I heard, you are not allowed to shoot Corp-Mates anymore in Highsec? I that true?
Can someone from CCP validate this or is there anywhere a Blog I missed?

You can still shoot corp mates in high sec.

And the bug you referred to was very annoying. I had red aggro on somebody, clicked to attack them. It came up witht he concord message and I click OK anyway because I thought it was a just a glitch.. Then much to my dismay I was then insta-popped! Bah, lame bugs lol. Ah well, the noob who took my can must have been laughing.

Yeah. my corp mate were also laughing at me, after posting that Rifter lossmail.

n.b. if your alt is +10 to you, then it can steal from your can and it will NOT be flagged.

Because I like him, he can steal from me without aggro?

OK, in that case, A will kill B, so A gets kill rights and can help him with logistic...

Confirming this. When I wanna spar with my out of corp bronaders we always have to set eachother negative to make can aggro work.

I used to have a clever sig but I lost it.

+10 gives him permission to take from your cans. Don't +10 your own alts. You know who they are.

Also, don't EVER ignore a concord warning. I've never known it to trigger without concord killing you when you choose to proceed. Even if your overview says they're valid, your understanding of aggression mechanics tells you you should have shooting rights, and you REALLY want to do it, if you get the concord warning and don't plan on losing your ship, don't fire.

Only exception i know of is smartbombs. they will ALWAYS concord warning, and there are (Rare) times when the warning is a lie.


BTW: if youre using smartbombs in highsec and not getting concorded, remove yourself from the gene pool. you used them wrong.

Pointing a pod in high sec after making his ship pop, will also generate the Concord warning, and is OK to click through, you won't get insta popped unless the pod goes squish.

HOWEVER!! If everyone in your fleet points the pod or RRs someone pointing the pod and the pod gets squished, everyone gets to meet Mr. Concord and enjoy the security loss.

We had a pilot decide to pop a +5 in 1.0 space while most of the fleet had either pointed or rr'd someone that had. When the pilot (cough- Hianmar -cough) proclaimed "**** it, I'm podding him" comms lit up with "wait!, no!, stop!, WTF just happened?" After this we all got the pleasure of going to null sec to ratt our sec status back up.
