I lose ships for two reasons:-

Forgetting where I parked them.
Being incompetent and having them shot out from underneath me.
Poor attention span.
Not being able to count.

and here I was thinking the biggest reason for loss of ships was teh direct application of DPS to their hulls.

Nope.

This is the last and final step towards the loss. The reason why a ship is being lost usually can be found much earlier,
for example in fitting decisions or lack of understanding of game mechanics. Lots of things.

Like...... the reason why you got killed wasn't because a ganker shot you, it was because you were flying afk.
We could go further and say that flying afk wasn't the reason either, but the false belief that it's safe to do so.

Then we could go even higher up ...
... and say that the reason was that you somehow did not learn that highsec isn't safe enough to do so.

And we can go on and on and on ...........


Every reality is a chain of events that led to whatever is happening *now*. Most people think too superficially and are completely blinded by their egos to understand that most "decisions" are none.

In the end, the most valid answer is: The reason is that the universe exists, therefore things happened.

Sheesh, you must be doing it wrong. First you start with an Inquisitor, then you use your Tengu and Tormenter a bit, and then finally break the tank with your Thorax.

My 3yo is the biggest obstacle and I think throwing tantrums while sitting in my lap has caused a few derps ingame overtime.

She makes up for it though everytime I put her on comms to say "Hewwo" to everyone.

My GF once undocked a Naglafar and warped to me. My ship got alpha'd off the field so quickly. Ingame and iRL.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

1) Currently, replacing an old screen that is weird. Fine for many hours then a spec of dust or something and suddenly can't see anything.
2) Blind sided by intel miscommunications.
3) Blob lag.
4) Lost a lot of ships to predictable roams I joined.

Not even once

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.
