The idea is simple: romove the tumor growing form the right side of the Zealot model.

A while back pilots were asking for this for the entire Omen hull line, but CCP said that the tumor is a dorne controling thingy (but somehow other drone ship can fuction without such turmor).

Since Zealot has no drones remove the tumor and make EVE 0,2% more pretty Big smile.

How about no?
Imperfections and asymmetry keep EVE ships from looking like the same model with different paint.

And also, have you seem the model without that side-thingy? Because it looks rather silly.
If they were going to change it, adding another side-thingy on the left side would be the right way to go about it.

Removing it is just... A bad idea.

Why?
this is an Amarr Glorious design not some minmattar trash you break down cause you need two ships instead of one *cough*rifter*cough*.

Removing it for the zealot and leaving it for the others could be a nice change.

Hmm man it is entirely up to personal taste, there are even people who fly minmatar ships after all* Blink, but golden fleet should be slick and aggressive and not bristling with tumors and (the horror) asymmetry.

Amarr ships don't look well asymmetric or with too many "add ons". I think we all agree that the new Apcalypse is how amarr ships shoudl be designed.

*I know Im soft, but I like when my slaves fly nice ships too Lol.

I support this, the golden fleet is all about symmetry, and any amarrian engineer would have made the drone control unit on the top/bottom of the center of the ship and not off to only one side.

Either cut off the tumor or add the drone control bit to both sides.

No we don't.

As it is, the Omen is one of the few remaining iconic designs in EVE after all the streamlining in the past couple of years..

Remove standings and insurance.

The omen model looks really dated compared to other Amarr hulls, it's oddly proportioned and kind of awkward overall. It is absolutely due an update. However there are absolute monstrosities like the celestis that are in more dire need of attention.

While I disagree with almost all of this post, I am obligated to +1 the part about "monstrosity" and "celestis" being in the same sentence. Mostly because it's overwhelmingly true.

Nah, that's just what you're left with when you space all the slave workers after they've rebelled because you told them they have to do it all over again.

Most people with a practical side put the Zealot out to pasture anyway.

Do side by side comparisons to the Devoter after revamp to figure out why.
