"Unethical project"?
You, peoples, are incompetent and laughable stock. Stop getting involved in what you don't understand and return to your kindergarten.

Frenjo, this concerns you as well.

Ms. Hydreiga, thank you.
I am glad to see at least someone can do her job professionally. I am looking forward for more your publications.

>>I do hope you received payment for this research up front. The research has little merit outside of select, limited use breeding projects. Further, the results are no different from various breeding projects currently being pursued in the Amarr Empire.

Nauplius
>>Funding research without understanding the process to be used is less than optimal. Further, having only one lead researcher and no outside verification? You're simply asking to be taken advantage of.

RE: Sansha Experimentation
>>There is a simple reason for Minmatar being used as a source of experimentation by Sansha's Nation. It was a simple matter of availability. It is a sad fact that Minmatar slaves are easily acquired, even to this day. It is less a matter of choice on the part of Sansha's Nation and more availability of research subjects. Add to the mix high genetic variation and Minmatar become optimal research subjects. I would however agree that the ethics of this and other such projects are questionable.

RE: The Research conducted by ID: Hydreiga, Wendrika
>>As stated, the research has limited application and far less scientific merit. Final conclusions are hypothetical. No clear process was presented, and limited information available due to redacted data and incomplete documentation. Lack of peer review and verification of results.

Spiritual Implications
>>Research ignores Amarrian dogma, borders on heretical.
>>Quote:
"In the beginning all things were as one.
God parted them and breathed life into his creation
Divided the parts and gave each its place
And unto each, bestowed purpose"
- The Scriptures, Book I 1:4

Final Analysis
>>Research noted.
>>Limited application for results noted.
>>Project Atlas Stone and Project Daedalid will not benefit from this research.
>>Discontinuing interaction as per protocol.

Well I'm glad you don't like my research Miss Sansha Computer Person. Imagine if Sansha took interest on my research! How terrible it would be if they found out about Project Snake Skin or even Project Stone Chip! There's a good reason why this Data File is so heavily redacted and out of one hundred and twenty five test subjects, only four are showcased, with the remaining one being part of the control group!

It baffles me how utterly confused everyone is over my intentions, or the lack of them, and how they are filling the empty gaps with the most horrible things imaginable! Seriously, even Sansha are giving me odd looks!

The truth is this. Mister Nauplius noticed how I am a big fan of cybernetic and genetic augmentation, with the results speaking for themselves, and asked me if I could make the process replicatable. Since despite Mister Nauplius being a mean monster, I still consider him to be my friend, I accepted under a few conditions.

Not a single ISK was given to me by Mister Nauplius to conduct this research. All I asked from him in return was freedom to do as I pleased with my test subjects and a week long cesation of Mister Nauplius being mean. No more, no less. Everything is being done with my ISK, on my laboratories and during my spare time.

But what astonishes me the most is how everyone is blamming me of unethical practices and cruelty to slaves. At no point in time have I considered these two thousand test subjects "slaves". I kept emotional distance from them, but the moment they steped out of Mister Nauplius transport ship on that dock in the Gallente-Amarr border, they were under my protection. And after they were strong enough to realise they were free to go, I gave them a choice: pick what little of their shattered lives they had, scatter to the winds and be free with what little help I could offer them, or volunteer for my experiments in exchange for a new lease in life.

More than half took my offer, but since I can only do so much with the few resources I have, I submited the ones that weren't selected for Project Heart Ribbon in the trials for Protocol Charlie Siera 9-Detramol which I am not allowed to disclose any details of. Those that were experimented with were given fresh clones, new identities and many of them might one day become capsuleer pilots themselves thanks to my experiments.

If this makes me a monster, then it is a title I'll proudly wear. Mister Nauplius doesn't seem to be bothered by it so I can take him as an example. I for one have nothing to be ashamed about. My actions made New Eden a better place!

But hey! It doesn't really matter. I always wanted to be a pirate so all this infamy is good for my street cred! I only shared this Data File so that you guys and Mister Nauplius could see my work so far, so everyone wins!

Pator and Matar, you are so naive it's amazing you even get past the screening phase of the Capsuleer Programme!

I suppose we were about due another mad scientist type, weren't we?

It's the goggles isn't it? I bet it's the goggles! I knew I should have gone with the 'Odin' Eye Implant...

Sure it is twice as original, but can you take a scientist with aviator glasses seriously? I think not!

For the record, aviator glasses are far less expensive and don't require elective surgery.

Maybe I'm missing something but where exactly are the good intentions in this? Removing racial traits from someone for what purpose exactly? Aside from suiting some psychopaths idea of what's right what exactly is being accomplished here? You can put a positive spin on anything but the reasoning is anything but positive.

Oh I quite agree with you Ms. Vess. She thinks her intentions are "good" in her simple minded naivity, but they are anything but and will condemn her to virtually universal disapprobation and perdition.

I can't help but notice that certain shrill and witless demagogues suddenly decided they were scientists about the same time I quietly announced the completion of my doctorate and publicly associated myself with the research effort into the unusual wormhole phenomena and Caroline's Star.

Listen well, capsuleers of New Eden: science is not the discoveries and inventions with which the ignorant masses associate it. It is not the endless pontification and posturing by personalities more concerned with their status than the expansion of human knowledge. It is the endless cycle of the formation of hypotheses and the testing of their validity. Science is not politics. It is not a game of popularity. It is the tireless pursuit of a higher level of understanding about the surrounding universe and its intricacies. Things it most certainly should not be include a game, a popularity contest or a weapon for the use of fanatical idealogues in pursuit of political point-scoring. The pursuit of science should serve the advancement of all humanity, not select groups.

This project, and all like it? The use of science to destroy, degrade and twist the very human beings it's meant to serve? You are not pursuing science. You are pursuing genocide and perverting the scientific method to build better tools for it. Call yourself an inventor or a visionary if you must, but do not dare call yourself a scientist.

The people who are trying to play themselves off as taking moral high-ground by choosing Blood Raider "science" over Sansha "science," or vice versa? You're missing the point to a darkly comical degree.

Yes Mister Ixiris, we get it, you hate fringe science. Protoscience makes you cringe. Speculative science makes you hurl! I'm just a quack! I'd probably have to steal Mister Borkstar's doctorate to call myself a doctor too!

Mister Nauplius asked me to give him results, and I'm in the process of delivering them. And I always keep my promises. You guys flailing your torches and pitchforks are so amusing and adorable! Kill the cute not-a-scientist! Rawr!

And why are you guys so mad about? Is it because I want to make bloodline hybridization using clonning methods possible and to be available to everyone? Because my methods, despite being as kind and thoughtful to all parties involved don't measure to your downright silly standards? I mean, seriously, a month from now I'll move on to my next project, you guys will all forget this, move on to the next thing to be upset about and we will all still be here. Slavery will still exist, between everyone who shared their opinion against my reasearch you will have an average death toll of more than a billion, we will all still be transhumanist monsters and I'll still have nothing to upset my sleep about.

To be fair, at first I was worried about what everyone was saying! Like, oh no, they don't like my data file! They are calling me a monster and setting bounties on my head! This hurts me because most of all, I am a likeable person in a sea of mean people, and love to make people smile. But now it has dawned to me. You guys are silly and become upset at the slightest of things! And it is actually funny to watch!

If you think this is bad, I can't even imagine your faces when you see the work I did with the Blood Raiders to produce comercially viable blood-based food products! Or how from said partnership I got the brainmatter that currently boots my Cerebral Computer Relay, which I use to analyse my data! Or how Protocol Charlie Sierra 9-Detramol is actually an experimental Vitoxin therapy treatment.

I can't wait to post my next data file to see your reactions. I see now why Mister Nauplius is so mean! This is carthartically fun! I'll leave you guys to soak on this while I revel from a distance! Haha!

Completely unrelated to science, you talk too much for a capsuleer who does so little. Then again, words come easy from inside a station.

Let me spell it out for you.

You are attempting to perform a gentle genocide. With child-like glee.

Your project aims to wipe out a race at the genetic level. What you are doing is removing the genetic markers that are unique to a race, a subset that contributes to the diversity of the human gene pool!

So what's next in your agenda? Brainwashing? Lobotomy?

Considering something like the Butcher to be a 'friend' does you no credit.

You didn't say this in the first post. "Drafting" normally implies conscription. If they were volunteers then that makes it better.

You obviously missed the thrust of my statement. I wasn't implying that any "scientists" chose to release "research" at the same time as me. I implied that suddenly, a number of people who are spectacularly unfit to call themselves such suddenly started pretending that they were scientists. I suspect that insecurities on their part may be heavily involved.

Not with a Sansha. Forswear your allegience to Kuvakei and do something that demonstrably hurts the Nation so much that they wouldn't accept you back, and then we'll talk.
