it should be in the station where you did the mission, alt + C is the default inventory shortcut, it should be in the item hangar. if not press alt + T (for assets, also the safe on the menu thingy) and it should show up there, and you can go to the station where your gun is.

I should probably know what the menu thingy is called by now

You're still in the Aura tutorials, right?

The gun(s) should've been dumped into your station inventory once you hit the "complete" button at the end of the first mission. it/they will be in whatever station you originally got the mission in ... unless you put it in the cargohold of your noobship.

If you really didn't get it, fastest way to get guns is probably

1. Undock
2. Right click your capacitor (the orange/yellow lines in the lower center of your screen)
3. choose "Eject"
4. Dock back up.

You'll get a shiny new noobship for free, and it'll be fitted with a civilian gun and miner.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

right click on the capacitor or your ship. 'leave ship'.

Funny, mine says "Eject" -- it's second from the bottom, right above "Self Destruct"...

You can repackage and then reassemble a noobship to get civilian guns to appear from thin air.
those weapons are free for a reason though, they are rather bad Smile

meh, it's just a noobship ... and you can stop it (just hit the "Self Destruct" again).

@Steve -- yeah, you're thinking about "in station" then Smile

Suggesting that the OP should undock and eject is a very long winded unnecessary way of achieving what he needs.

Just go to your hanger view while in station, right click on your manned noobship and click 'Leave', your pod should then appear alongside the ship. Then, right click the ship and select 'Repackage'. Right click again and select 'Assemble'. Upon boarding you will find a Civilian Gun and Civilian Miner fitted to the high slots.

You can repeat the process and on the 'Repackage' step the gun and miner will be moved to your Items hanger, thus giving you spares. You will get another gun and miner on your ship when you assemble it again. After that you can then board the ship, un-equip the miner and fit the spare gun. Assuming you have enough Power Grid and CPU to fit a second gun and the next mission doesn't have a mining element.

Is OP the same guy that keeps popping up every few days? He always writes with new lines instead of commas/periods and probably other stuff as well. And it always seems to be similar problems, related to the tutorial. Let's see if I can't find some of these posts.
